  1. Thanks ladies it was a little bit of both I think my swelling Is completely down now. I am a little more hungry now, but I still haven't been consuming more than 700 calories a day and I've lost 25/ 40 pounds in about three weeks. I put two numbers because I went to one of my surgeons closer offices and they had a manual scale and it read 15 less than my scale at home so idk which one is right. I think my personal scale. But, I guess ill see when I go back into the normal office for my full on August 9th.

  2. So I'm 9 days out of surgery and I'm on mushies. Really haven't had an appetite ,so I've just been drinking my Protein Shakes so I won't be completely weak during the day. The pain has been pretty uncomfortable ,but the doctor said everything is normal. I would think I would be more hungry now since the swelling is down ,but I'm not. I've lost 10pounds since surgery for a total or 20 pounds since Pre Op, so that's exciting.I'm just ready to get in the gym and back to work!

  3. Hey all!!! I went at 830 with surgery at 1130....got home around 3...and I feel like a Mack truck ran me over! Gas pains and hurting pains....I got pain meds..oh also got nauseated when I was leaving the hospital!!! I'm going to lay down. Otherwise...IM BANDED!!!!!! Yay!!!

    Did you start feeling better?

  4. Went into surgery at 6 this morning everthing with so smoothe. Woke up in a lot of pain and nausea ,but they gave me meds through an iv that worked really good n quick. True Results San Antonio has amazing staff! I've been off and on sleep for about 3 hours but , I feel great sore n still a little tired but, all is well. I'm so happy about my decision and ready for my journey with my band;)

  6. Hey girl! Welcome!

I was banded at 22 (I am 23 now). Best decision I ever made. Down over 145lbs, but more importantly, learning to love myself and live a healthy balanced lifestyle. Feel free to message me any time.

Wow you look amazing , I'm 20 and getting banded on July 11th . Your success is definitely a motivation. I'm so excited and anxious about the journey ahead!

  7. I've been struggling with my weight for my whole life but, five years ago my dad passed away when I was 15 and my weight has reached it's highest. When i was

17 I started the process of getting the band , but my insurance stopped when I turned 18 and I wasn't unable to finish the process. So 2 years later, I simply asked my grandparents could they pay for me to get the lap band, and with no hesitation they said yes. I went for a consultation and set my surgery.

I'm super excited about being banded in less than

a week.I'm on a 14 day liquid diet the first week was so hard. I wasn't used to the taste of the Protein shakes and had to really get used to it.

Now that I've got used to the taste, it has been much easier. I lost 10 pounds in 5 days and that definitely has given me a push to realize

that the hard work has been paying off. I read a lot of posts on here daily and it has surely been a motivation. Therefore, I will be tracking my

journey on here and sharing my experiences with the lap band.
