Not banded yet, but currently 263 as of this morning. Surgery is in 3 weeks but ive been making better choices the last year preparing for the insurance and stuff. I was 290 when I started the process so I've lost a few pounds the last month or so, my surgery was supposed to be June 24th so I was on liquids for a while but then it was switched to the 22nd. Anyways, my goal is 145 but my Dr. wants me at 126, I'm 5'4. :D

Good question! I've tried many beef broths home made and boxed or canned. I say the home made ones are the best but id go to food network channel and look up a few ways to make it quick and easy! If not swanson (I believe) is great.

Well said Brad, along with everyone else. Just gives me more motivation Pre surgery to really think about how my actions can affect me. Really helps!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you have had such a bumpy ride the last few days! I'm glad that all the tests were taken care of and ou are on your way to surgery! So happy for you! Also I'm glad that the cat is doing okay! My dog was once stung by multiple bee's and was very sick, we also made midnight ER visit! Also haha AZ heat is rough, lived there for many years, TX is no better. Let us know how you are doing once you are able. Best wishes.

You can do it! I understand those headaches.. it is hard to comfortable or do much of anything! Keep hydrated! hope the rest of your pre-op diet goes well! My surgery is in July as well! EXCITING!

My insurance is covering my surgery %100.. and it has taken me an entire year to jump through hoops to get approval. I've never been more serious in my life about anything.. but I can see what you mean. I'd like to see a study like that!

Hahaha love Seinfeld! I can barely get a shake down.. and I have not even started the pre-op... I have a week before I start! I'm worried its going to be terrible!

Awww welcome! I'm in the same emotional boat as you! As for the questions about post-op... I'm not as knowledgeable in because my surgery is a few weeks out... but with all the reading I do know it gets better! I'm excited for you, I'm excited for all of us! It is a huge step and I'm always greatful that we hae eachother to talk to and ask about tips!! Hope all the best for you and hope ou start feeling better!!!!

I have to agree with you! This entire time I keep thinking to myself... I need to have a goodbye dinner to all my favorite food, and continued to think.. I don't think I would hae enough time to say goodbye to them.. so I started thinking and asking questions to friends who have had the surgery along with my doctor.. and I chalk it up to this.. there will be foods that I will no longer be able to et, some of them being my favorite and then there is going to be some that I can still eat in moderation. As long as I'm following dotors orders, eating the right portions I can still be happy and satisfied..... I HOPE! hahahaa best wishes to you!!!!!

Sounds so funny, but I'm happy for you that you started! hahaha. Hopefully it will regulate and you can have progress! I have a similar condition, its not PCOS, they thought it was... but they said hopefully after I lose some weight and start regulating I will have a better chance on concieving. Best wishes to you!
