Thank you everyone. I had help with the baby but not much anymore but I'm trying not to pick him up a lot. He's 25lbs and it hurts. I just drank a cup of broth and feel way to full. Too much maybe -
I'm only a week in and have no appetite at all. You might feel mentally hungry out of habit but not really to make u want to eat. I'm so afraid to get sick, I will follow the dr orders

I had surgery Monday June 3rd. Stayed on liquid all day Tuesday , added shakes and tea and diet snapple until this Monday starts mushy foods. I think I'm starting to get hungry now but I have so many gas pains, I don't feel as hungry. I just drank a can of chicken broth for 1st time and I thought I drank slow and took like 20 min but holy **** am I full and bloated. Maybe too quick or too much??? Keep me posted. It's def challenging -

I'm trying a little each day and I'm moving around the house. I have a 1 yr old and it hurts when I pick him up but don't have a choice. Thanks for ur answers -

Thank you! 14 lbs. that's great. I feel like I have to lose since I'm not eating yet but too bloated to notice. I don't think I had a fill during surgery but maybe gas keeping me full. Do u know how I fill out profile? Did u have loose farts? Everyte I fart, it's like Water. Yuk. Will that make me dehydrated? -

Hi I'm 4 days post op. all I have consumed is water but having hard time getting thru a lot because I don't crave anything and sips are so small . I have had a protein shake each day but it takes all day to drink one shake. Is that normal? Hope were getting enough but gas is crazy!!!! -

I also can't burp. How much weight are people losing in first few weeks?
