  1. I hope you are okay. Did you have to get an unfill? I had 1.5cc removed today and an Upper GI to make sure my band was okay.

Thank you, yes I'm much better. After 3 days with no food... And little Water I went for 1cc unfill. I lost 7lbs from Friday till Monday. Wish to keep that off. Have only had liquids and no appetite but feeling better. Maybe this will be enough cause my last two fills did nothing but 3rd put me over the line

  2. Hi I'm learning about fills myself. I had surgery 6/3. I had two fills and felt nothing. Went for my 3rd fill Friday and Friday I threw up foamy spit all day and couldn't get Water down. Ate nothing all weekend and can barely drink a sip, going for infill today. I think I lost 5lbs since Friday but I feel like crap. Just want a hAppy medium. Next time I won't push my dr to add more! Dr knows best.

  3. I know how you feel. I cheated and I was fine but I regret it. The pre op and first couple weeks after you can lose the most and then it may slow. Try to get the most out of this. You will be very happy in a few weeks with weight loss. Plus it doesn't get easier mentally so need to prepare. You will eat again. Be strong girl, I tried, ate one day, felt bad and got back to it

  4. My surgeon had me schedule my first fill for three weeks to the day after my surgery' date=' which will be tomorrow. I honestly don't need it, I'm hardly ever hungry as it is - struggling to get in 700 cals a day (I should have 1,200 - ugh, I don't see that happening) so I don't know how this is going to go.[/quote']

That's exactly how I felt. Week 4 got my 1st fill and all swelling was down finally so I've been hungry! Went back 2 weeks later, still hungry. Scheduled to go back in two weeks. I miss the full feeling first 3 weeks

  5. Anxiety. I understand how you feel and wonder if I am going thru the same. I work from home so I only leave to take my son to and from daycare and go to gym. Plus I think we're anxious being faced with temptation at parties. Remember others don't know how you feel or what ur thinking so "fake it till you make it" and so don't be afraid to ask ur dr for something. Good luck.

  6. Welcome to the monthly challenge. July is here and Summer is in full swing! This challenge is a fun way to keep track of your monthly weight loss while gaining and giving support to other bandsters

Copy and post the template below and fill in the information that you are comfortable sharing on Monday July 1st then come back every Monday on the 8th' date=' 15th, 22nd, 29th and the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH --Wednesday July 31st and post your updated weight. I will keep track of the weights to get a table listing everyone's results on the following weekend. Good luck to everyone and remember this isn't a contest it's a challenge and you are a winner no matter how much you lose.

The first three items are required all others are recommended, but the last one is the most fun. If you are new to our monthly challenge please leave a short introduction.

  8. Hello' date=' I'm confused how much broth, pops, Jello should I consume in the days after surgery? I've read many source that recommend no more than 3oz and aim for 64 oz but is that 64 oz of broth & water/ice. How many jellos? Going nuts already but excited.[/quote']

Well I can tell you a whole can is to much. I drank a whole can out of cup 1st week and wanted to die!
