  1. Lauren, you are NOT alone. Only really HARDCORE people don't have second thoughts, specially if you've been reading horror stories. Yes, the exist, but for every horror story there are numerous more success stories. It's good that you are educating yourself, that way you can make an informed decision. Let THAT help you make your mind up..... Never fear! Fear paralyzes you and keeps us from greatness.
  2. My sister had the sleeve done a month before I had my lap band. I suggested to her that she should have lap band, but as usual, she didn't listen. Her weigh loss has been remarkable, but at a great cost!! She can't really enjoy her meals.... I wish she had listened to her little sister.
  3. WoW! So many sweet victories. Life is BAND with the GRAND
  4. Great suggestions, guys! And, junkie, step up your game!! LMAOOOO!
  5. There's a great thread here about what people are reading and I hope to be able to read MANY of the books shared on that thread, but what are y'all listening to? My favorite band is 3 Doors Down & my favorite artist at the moment is Carrie Underwood. (I like rock & alternative) Aldo, what do you all "workout to"? I never find music I enjoy to listen to while working out, except my usual playlists. Thanks in advance for participating
  6. LapBanlo, my scale is consistent with my daily doings, that's why it doesn't drive me crazy.
  7. Another free e-book http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DIQFMKG/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00DIQFMKG&linkCode=as2&redirect=true&ref_=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl&tag=peloanloca-20
  8. Lmaooooo!!! Great shot! I bet he didn't mind a bit!
  9. I'm a belly sleeper and I think I slept on my side after two weeks, and gradually rotated to my belly a little bit each day after that. Use pillows to make yourself comfortable in the meantime.
  10. 9 hours a DAY?!! Me mueroooooo!
  11. That's the wrong kind of "restriction", right, dawalsh!! LoL
  12. Pockets be DAMMMED!! LoL!!
  13. 12 pants ready to be taken to my basement to take them IN!!! Finally, I have clothes to chose from, and now I don't have to buy 3 of the same dark colored pairs because they fit "alright"
  14. Ahhhh!! Congratulations! I'm sure you deserve every good thing coming to you. As far as being more attractive (something I don't feel about myself yet) it makes me uber uncomfortable now because I get those lingering looks from men. I've ALWAYS been very friendly, even at my highest weight, saying hello & good morning to strangers (men &women) making small talk on a line, thanking the men who take away our waste every time I see them... And so forth. But NOW... I'm making less eye-contact with people, particularly with men, because I don't want them to think I think I'm ALL THAT.
  15. That's GREAT to hear.... Now share that sexy pic with us
  16. Ruben Studdard? What is it, a celebrity special?
  17. Gggggggrrrrr!!! I missed it!! Hope it's at the same time as last season and that my DvR doesn't have amnesia
  18. You're welcome! The surgeon himself called me to confirm I had changed my mind. It didn't seem he had a problem with it..... It was more his team of doctors I met with on my first appointment. Let us know how it goes
  19. I agree, if you don't commit to Atkins, the fat WILL "do you in" as you say. Thanks for the links!
