Today is my 2 month bandaversary. Yippee!!!! I have lost 18 pounds so far. Its been slow but Im getting better at this. Tomorrow I will have my first fill. I have 5cc from surgery in my 10cc band.

I have been banded month today. So far down 14 pounds but seem to be stuck. I'm hoping I go down more. Don't know when my next fill is. But I already have 5cc from surgery in my 10cc band.

I am 10 days postop and as of this morning down 18.2lbs! Pretty excited about that! Can't wait to graduate to full liquids/soft foods next week!

Today is my post op appointment (6 days since surgery) and I know the doctor scales aren't ever the same as the ones I have at home so I decided to weigh in my bathroom on mine. 13lbs!!!! Holy crap!!! Motivation right there! I know weight loss will slow down eventually' date=' but for now I have my party hat on![/quote']

That great news!!! Woohooo. Today is my 7 days post op and yesterday on my home scale it said 12lbs down. I so did a happy dance :-)

AMAZING!!!! Cant wait to get to my goal. I have an old outfit I want to wear again :-)

I'm having a hard time wanting to eat at home also. Cant wait to go to work on Tuesday so I can keep my mind busy.

I did not have a name but after reading your post I have named my band Lola. So LOLA it is :-)

So far so good. I'm just really sore. Especially when getting up but once I'm up and walking the pain is not to bad. Pain meds help too. Good thing is I'm not very hungry. I do have a headache today.

Hi everyone I am just now waiting for my wheelchair to get here because I've been discharged.

Surgery went great according to what the surgeon told my mom but I was in a lot of pain once I woke up in recovery. They pumped me full of meds. Gas pain is mild in my shoulders but it hurts to try to get a cleansing breath. Hopefully this goes away soon' date=' more annoying that painful.

I am quite nauseous because I haven't eaten since before 10PM last night. All I know is I can't wait for some Jello and sugar free Popsicles as soon as I get home.

Congrats!!!! Hope you are feeling better. I had a popsicle last night it was so yummy. We will be feeling better in no time :-)

congrads!!!!!! Glad to hear that you are doing well. It seems to go differently for different people. I get banded day after tomorrow on the 19th Am getting alittle nervous - but am sure will be fine. Now you get to start that new life. :-)

Had surgery yesterday....got home around 5. Nausea passed pretty fast just a lot of gas pain in chest and shoulder and pain by my larger incision. ... maybe thats where my port is? Anyone else just now post op? Would love a buddy to compare.

Hi congrats!!! I was banded today and so far so good. I also have pain in the larger one where the port is. Gas pains not to bad yet. We can do this :-)

I'm finally banded. Woohooo. Got back around 12:30pm. So far so good. Just a little sore. Gas pains are not to bad yet very tolerable. Now on to a new chapter in my life :-)

Less than 24 hours we will be at home on the couch and newly banded! Lol!!

Yippie!!!! Can't wait. I dont think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight. Good Luck!!!

Marcyusa29...I am so happy for you!!!! It is coming quickly and I find that my emotions are starting to calm a bit. Are you ready?? I am just making the final plans for my son (I have an 8 year old with disabilities)...thank God for my mother who is taking over his care while I am at the hospital. Good luck and I will say a prayer that all goes smoothly for you too!!!

Hi...I am scheduled for surgery this coming Tuesday. I am hungry' date=' grumpy and starting to question my decisions. I am so glad I have a good support system because that has been the key to my success so far. I am amazed at how much I am addicted to food and have done well But I want a pizza right now!!!

Every day surgery gets closer I get more nervous :/ I know once I'm asleep it will be official... I'm terrified. Lol

Me too. I getting more nervous the closer Tuesday gets here. Like its getting for real now. :-)
