    Plateau Already?

    I hit a one too. N I looked at like this if I stay the course it will work out and It did. It was mind boggling because like cg said my body was changing and not the scale. During January people were commenting on how much I lost on past few weeks these are people who see me daily and I'm like sigh no scale not moving then I said eff it and started saying thank you. When my scale stopped doing the up down pound dance it then didn't love for weeks then bam it's going back down. Just stay the course and if your truly monitoring I love the my fitness pal app it will all work out .

    Great inspiring post. Been Mia for a while just living life. My NSV is my overall change in my thinking. Had a bump in the road of dating found out me wonderful well was not so much and the old me would of harped to figure out why and after a month or so gotten over it . The new me within two days is moving forward slightly bruised but not looking back. I got banded to be healthier which resulted in me being happier which resulted in me truly not settling less than I deserve . I know people say it hell I said it but settled this time no settling. Which I'm over the moon about to be living what I have been preaching lol... On a gym note I'm doing burpees wth can't do a lot but I'm doing them and each time I do it I'm in awe that I'm doing it. Sept 2013 couldn't do it and know I'm doing several during my classes. I beam in Btwn gasping for air as I'm working out not cause I can't do the workout but because I keep pushing my limits to be a healthier person. My trainer doesn't know about the lap band but his encouragement n motivation has transformed my body as well he pushed and believed in me when I sure I couldn't do the workouts. Now I'm a gym rat lol

    When to tell someone you're dating about the band?

    I've been dating a guy for 2 months he is a great guy have I told him I'm banded hell no. When we got out I order soup or foods I know for sure I can handle. I told him from first date I eat very clean and that I think covers my odd choices. Even told him I juice 1x a month to cover my fills when I really can't eat anything. He offered to juice with me on those weeks as well. Super sweet but don't know when I'll tell him if I will... It's a big issue for me very few people I know know from my mouth I have been banded . Even At 38 yrs old first dates are nerve wracking just have fun on ur next date

  12. Great post. That's what I tell myself I am doing it and if I hit a plateau like in currently in I just keep doing what I'm doing and it will work out. I have not loss weight but hearing more compliments on how great I look and his much have I lost in the past month and I chuckle cause I gauged 2 lbs but I'll take it. I'm changing my lifestyle day by day and I am human and will have slip ups and stumbles but the band won't let me have dusters of my doing. Looking forward to my fill which will force a liquid diet for a while to rid my snacking lol

    When I'm in doubt I drink hot Water n I start my day with a cup of hot water just need something warm n coffee is not a good thing when I work out it makes me nauseous.

    Donna the band controls the quantity we need to control the quality as Carolinagirl says. U start with 5 mins a day until u get to 30/45/60 mins need to find the balm e what works for you . Ditch the sliders!!! Focus on protein n veggies protein super impt (I'm afraid of hair loss so I make sure protien first. U want sliders drink a Protein shake n Water. It's a mind set n when ur ready you will be ready don't let this surgery be a waste u did great so far 25 lbs keep it going to you reach ur goal -.01 pound at a time ounces add up

    Started just like u got banded at 38 weighing same amount lost same amount so far. My goal is wonderland by march if not sooner . I will be a size 12/14 by summer come join me

    Start with a few minutes a day and add on. I got the t25 From beach body it's a 25 mon workout u do 6 days a week 5 days work out 1 day stretch . I said I can do 25 minutes as much I was so I'm not waking up earlier to exercise that's crazy I did. I stopped t25 I completed 1 month the modified version n still couldn't keep up. I began spinning and another program at the gym. I work 12 hour days and now I get up 430 am to get to gym for 53o am classss. Workout 6-7 days a week. I went from a size 22/24 in June 2013 banded July 1 2013 wearing a size 16 down 79 lbs. I started small walking treadmill barely 5 minutes a day post surgery and now I plan my days around my workouts it's crazy n trust me a year ago I was not this person and now I'm still not sure who this new me is. We are here to encourage you !!!! I love my fitness pal it tells be his many calories I burn with my workouts n tracks my calories in n guess what more calories out vs in great weightloss !!! You got this the hardest part was deciding to get banded. You can pm me anytime and be accountable to me.

    The surgeon office recommended barriatric advantage I have been using those kinda expensive but I bought so much b4 surgery in July. I also like the isopure ready to drink 160 for 40 g if protein I wait for vitamin shop coupon n buy on line plus free shipping. I need to be careful bc I'm lactose intolerant n well let's say most shakes have lactose and it's not pretty fir me. But getting banded us worth any lactose issues

    Reading this brought tears to my eyes I feel ur emotions I feel exactly like u . I To started at a 22/24 n nye wore reg size 16 skinny jeans I can't wrap my head around it. I don't kno what size I am xl shirts are getting to big yet when I go to buy clothes I aways grab bigger sizes. The most amazing feeling was nye wearing 4 inch heels walking and dancing and my feet did not hurt. In the past 2 hrs in those shoes I round be Ib pain and suffer for days after. Nope wore them from 6pm until 230 am not a problem. Don't know what was more exciting the size 16 jeans kickass shoes not hurting an amazing nye with a wonderful man. The new me inside and out meeting all of you ... I can go on and on I see them all interrelated and none can stand alone all thanks to my courage to get banded. New year new us more new and exciting NSV woo hoo go us
