  1. I was banded by him, and have not seen him since. I do all of my follow ups with Dr Garwood in College Station.

  5. I had a choice, i got a pedometer. I got it after about 2 weeks. That was in 2003.
  6. My family and I (husband and son) will be in SanAntonio for our yearly mini vacation, March 11,12, and 13. I would love to meet someone from here for lunch/dinner or something. Let me know if anyone will be in that area!
  7. I am in. I have been banded for 2+ years and have only lost 6 lbs the past 6 monts. It really sucks. I am at 190 now. I am going to be 175 by july 4!! I know I can do it easily if I stop drinking with meals. That is my goal and I am sticking to it!

  10. I had a csection in 2000, i have lost 96 lbs and the smiley is still there! I will definatley have to have a tt before i can comfortably tuck my shirt in!
  11. I had my surgery with him in Oct 03. So 2 years ago this month. I have lost 96 lbs to date. I feel great. i am so glad I made this choice. If you work with your band it will work with you.
  12. I am in Texas about 100 miles away from houston, but they say that that she could hit us also, everyone here is prepared, EXCEPT me! I have been working, and have not had a chance to hit the stores for the necessities. We are really scared. Not sure what to do next.....
  13. I had a c section in 2000, with about a 6" bikini cut scar also. I was banded in 2003, and have had no related complications. Except it seems like the fat in my stomach area is harder to lose than the rest.....but that may be for most everyone. I am not sure.
  14. Ihave 40 more pounds to lose, but i can feel the port more and the most when I lay down, like a "knob" on my side.

    I was banded in october 2003 I have had 4 fills, the last one being in March of 2005. I don't think I will be needing another for a looong time.

  20. I have that book. I got it from Donali, isn't it a neat book? It makes you realize the trash you are putting in your body. It is all about sacrifices!
  21. I was banded when I was 24, turned 25 two months later. It has been wonderful so far....In October it will be 2 years. Hopefully I will lose another 30 pounds by then and be at my next goal!

  23. I go to Gerald Garwood in College Station. He is great. He is not a surgeon, But was trained to do fills, and assists Dr Benavides.
