Every doctor has their own rules, but I always eat before my fill. I usually try to keep my lunch lite if my appointment is close to lunchtime though. If not, I eat a normal lunch. Is there a nurse or anyone at the office that you can check with?

My doc has you do liquids for I think 8 hours before a fill, then the regular 24 hours of liquids after and ease back through the full mushies. Just to be safe, I'd keep it at least mushy or liquid. I'm fairly certain your doc wouldn't say NO food.

My doc didn't say so I ate a normal lunch before and I was fine. I also didn't have to go on liquids after my fill. I was just careful.

mine says 4 hours.

NO one tells me anything

sometimes I think I just may not be listning...

hows it possible I am never told these things?

Going for my 1st fill at 8:45 today. I hope it goes smoothly. I am so worried about being overfilled. My husband went yesterday and his port had flipped.:ermm
