I just came from my doctor post surgery app and the doctor told me my band come with liquid 4 cc on it already is a 14cc band, no wonder I am not hungry at all and lost 10 pounds on 12 days post op , did anyone have the same band because I was told they come like that now?

Hi kmart I have to do all the test that was mention on this tread it took me almost 6 months I start on may and was banded nov 6 , my insurance require 3 months but it was so many test my doctor require that I ending finish all on october because I have the bacteria in my stomach and did two weeks antibiotics, good luck on you surgery!

At B's wholesale they have a big box for about $8 not a bad price I purchase my sugar free popsicles there!

Did you have a endoscopy test done because is the only way I believe they can be sure about those hernias , I did one it was mandatory with my doctor before surgery good luck.

Wow 2 weeks that is kind of extreme, I will feel like you if was me , my doctor said 1 day clear liquid after surgery and three weeks full liquids after including milk fat free or low fat , but you have to follows you doctor instructions all doctors are different with these diets after surgery good luck

Hi 2012 thanks , I went to GNC and bought the liquid ultra mega and the Calcium chewable dulce de leche flavor taste like candy so far I drink the vitamins and nothing happen no nausea so far crossing my fingers, it is expensive , I hope later I can buy a less expensive brand I will tried celebrate in the future thanks again!

Hi 2012 I tried to drink in so many ways before eating after eating , my husband mash it and put it in a spoon with Water , I also tried 1/2 in the morning and the other half later but my stomach just reject it , it make me feel sick.

Hi Has anyone feel nausea when drinking the Vitamins , I purchase opurity vitamins and I called to return it because my stomach do not like them I am also afraid to drink their Calcium, it this happen to anybody else?

Hi I was banded on november 6 and going back to work on nov 20 , I still have a little pain on one of my incicions but I deffinetly was not ready to go back this past monday I feel ready now a week after but everybody is different good luck to you

Hi there I am 5 days post op and still not hungry , my doctor said just 1 day clear liquid and then full liquid diet for 3 weeks, keep in mind all doctors are diferent , I have sugar free jelly, sugar free popsicles, tomato juice, powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury shakes with skin milk, Soups i drink creamy soup once at day i add Water and make it like regular soup and drain it before eat it, cream of chicken , tomato soup also cream of mushroom low sodium and also broth ( beef and chicken) one thing I like is to make liquid oatmeal with skim milk and a dash of cinnamon in the morning and then mixed in the blender with the unjury vanilla shake is delicius and it fell so good in the morning , also you will need tea and drink a lot of water daily good luck in you surgery.

Hi all Today I feel much better I was home did not went outside yet but planning to go out today, little left shoulder pain still and some gas but not that much, no pain in my incicions swelling is minimal I am not hungry at all but drinking my shakes ,Soups, jelly and popsicles

I forgot to tell you that they give you injections to prevent blood clock before and after surgery

Hi there I just came from the hospital , I was banded today all of us have those thughts believe me but so far I am happy with my decision ,I have little pain but everybody is different , it is scare to be there in the room but the best thing you can do is relax one nurse told it will feel like two minutes and believe me next thing I knew I was on recovery room with a wonderfull nurse good luck to you !!!!

Thank you all for you best wishes , surgery went well i have to stay extra time because my potassium was very low and I have to stay 6 more hours , little gas pain drinking gas X so far no narcotic for pain thank God!! Good luck to all of those that are getting banded tomorrow , just relax and everything will be fine
