  1. Hey Im 21 to... I just got banded on the 19/04/07. I dont see it as giving up... I have tried every diet and fitness programme there is and i just put more weight on in the end. I think getting a lap band is just a tool to help me to get healthier and slim. You still gota put an effort in to loose all the weight you just getting a bit of a helping hand with having a lap band.

    :)

  2. This page was so great to find, I have been feeling a lil down since iv had the lap band done because i feel like iv got so much weight to loose. I was banded on the 19/04/2007. My starting weight was 162.2 kilograms sorry dont know what that is in pounds my BMI was about 54 or 56 something like that i cant exactly remember. Im now down to 149 Kilograms and I know I have a long long way to go, it is nice to know i am not alone though... :)

  3. Who said men want abs of steel and a skinny tiny body. Not all men are like that. Maybe thats just what you think men want. I think you need to be comfortable with your own body and not worrying about someone else thinks to even enjoy sex. How are you going to orgasm if your laying there thinking is he looking at my scars... I wonder if he can feel my port.... Find a real man who loves you for you and all those negative thoughts will go...

  4. My dad had bowel cancer as well. He has passed away already and I know how this can really affect your weight. Be strong and enjoy everylast minute you have with her. We were told my father had 3 months to live and he lived almost three years. I dont think doctors can really say how long exactly some one has to live. As for your eating I think it is really important to let all your emotions and thoughts out if you bottle them up inside your gona want comfort food, so talk to a close friend of family member or jump on here and let it all out. I will pray for you and your family.
