Birth control suggestion I had blood clot post op (shunt placement) and I had to get the copper IUD (no hormones) for birth control its suppose to last 10 years as apposed to the 5 year hormone ones! Best of luck with everything!

I am keeping my fingers crossed I can get my surgery moved up to the 18-19! So far I'm penciled in for the 27th as long as my Ins approves me in time

That's the best thing to do and what I have done! I bought some sample packs today from Sprouts to see how I like them a-posed to the premier Protein I have been drinking (they are yummy)

I'm in Phx! And I will be going through True Results for surgery in September! I don't know who the surgeon is yet. I would love to meet up and swap "war" stories sometime! I am at the 101 and 7th st but work in Tempe.

That is so awesome! I want summer to rush by as fast as it did when I was a kid an so far it has! My surgery is penciled for Sept 27th BUT I am hoping I can move it up a week (fingers crossed!) I go for my last Ins require appt on Aug 19 the. The paperwork goes to the Ins for approval! Eeek!

I have bought both powder and pre mix premier Protein they come in vanilla and chocolate from Walmart and SAMs club (get more for the money) I like the pre mixed I could never Seem to get the powder all the way dissolved My nutritionalist wants me to start a 10 day pre op diet before I go for my last Ins required weigh in on the 19th of Aug so Friday I will be starting it. I'm scheduled for Surgery Sept 27th and will have a 3wk pre op diet of two shakes and a healthy meal (Atkins frozen meals).

When I'm driving to work every morning I see all these people out running and I want to be one of "those" people! I can't wait

Welcome! I am in the same boat as you! I am pre banded, but hope to be banded by the end of Sept. I have only told a select few( aunt and kids) as I don't want or need the negativity the others would bring! Glad to meet you! Please keep us posted on your journey Heather
