  1. THANK YOU ! I have been calling every day for the past 10 days... Called and she said just had a few openings that filled, then called me back to say another opening. Sooooo now I have an appt every 3 weeks until Sept... Thanks for everyone helping out!
  2. I'm having same issue. 3 1/2 weeks post op was first fill, next appt 6 weeks after. Frustrated too b/c the first week after I couldn't even go 4 hours until my stomach was growling....
  3. 30 min chair massage on upper back and shoulders did me good
  4. I had my first fill last Thursday, had a mild headache thru Sunday.. Think I am better now. Maybe dehydration?
  5. Honestly, I haven't been sick of them at all! Weird I know. Vanilla per boxed premiere protein from Costco aren't bad. Strawberry from gnc are good too. Both either 25 or 30 grams of protein. Nutraceutical summa has powder with low carbs and they have chic, vanilla, cookies n crime, apple pie powders... All low carbs too , but a good variety. Another trick is Torino sugaring free syrups (cheapest at world market).. I put that in my powder shakes and my iced coffee to give me some zing w/o the calories! Yummy! Try it, you will love it!
  6. Lookin good... Keep up the good work..
  7. My shoulder pain has been the worst part about it so far.. I am about 3 weeks post op, just had first fill yesterday. Had the same shoulder pain for about 3 hours yesterday, but all is good now. I went after the initial 10 days and had a shoulder, neck and high back chair massage for about 30 mins and that relieved the shoulder pain and broke up the gas pockets.. Felt better almost immediately!
  8. I had my first fill today as well...added approx 1.5 cc, now up to 5cc, I hate needles and tend to pass out. But a little numb on surface and all was good.
  9. Msapp77-- surgery is not bad.. The preop and anxiety is worse..keep us posted.. Good luck.
  10. Hi again.. Thinking about going to their support groups for the first few months to see what it's about.. Thoughts?
  11. Tracie---Give it a day or two and the worst will be over! I was home after about 6 hours in my own bed. So at least you are being watched over until that point. Get some rest and dream skinny! Keep me posted.
  12. Kerryisme: I had Doc Stevenson as well---he seems to be great thus far.. My scars ar so small compared to other who had procedure by other doctors... If you don't mind me asking, your big incision, is it higher or lower closer to your navel? Mine is at least six inches higher to my left vs others whose are lower... Maybe I have a longer torso? My first fill is this Thursday... Can't wait to get this moving ! Gary- you'll be fine and do great! Keep me posted!
  13. My first fill is on Thursday. My stomach growls again, so it sounds like that is common. From what I've been told, you will feel like you did again with not much appetite again. Hang in there. Keep me posted...
  14. Nursemedic83--- how long ago were you banded? Can't wait to zip line myself... That is on my list to do... Where were you when you did that? Great job, keep it up. How much total are you looking to lose?
  15. Good luck Tracie... The leprechauns will be with you. It is pretty easy.. Just feels like you get punched in the stomach a few times. The anxiety and the shoulder pain was about the worst for me. Good luck, keep us posted!
  16. I was the opposite.. Mine barely moved and the were looking so yucky, after about 10 days, I took off and put on bandaid waterproof with their neosporin like on the bandaid. Omg, those suckers were so stuck to my skin, my belly has more marks from that than my incisions! Lol..
  17. I was like you... Had surgery on Friday and bk to work on Tuesday.. I sit at desk all day, but I just got up and walked throughout the day. I survived. One week would be plenty if you had to, but if you have a high tolerance, you'll be fine after 4 or5 days.
  18. Hey... Who did the surgery? That is where I went as well. Doc Stevenson for me... I already belong to a gym, but we will definitely have to keep in touch along this journey. I go that week too for my first fill, you will have to let me know how it goes... Maybe once the weather cools down a bit (lol) we can meet up and workout on weekends other than the gym. Maybe hike, or walk outside, or who knows what else is offered around here...
  19. True Results... Dr Stevenson.. Younger, great personality and had me back to work in 3 days.... Office workers are very sweet too. The one bad one was recently fired!
  20. I'm in Phx too.. Banded on 5/24... Where did u have it done? How is it going so far?
  21. So excited to experience my first slime...lol. Just had band on 5/24... Solid food doesn't soun so good anymore...
  22. Call the doc.. If you cough to much after surgery, it could cause the band to slip, or even more swelling around the band that can cause issues.
