I'm 7 weeks post op and had my first fill today. I had 3.5 cc put in at surgery and 1cc added today. Ever since the fill I've had a headache, which liquid tylenol hasn't helped. Could this be fill related or is it just a coincidence (maybe allergies)? Thanks!

I suspect it's coincidence.

Or, is it possible low blood sugar from not eating? A lot of doctors say nothing before the fill and only liquids for 24-48 hours after. If that's the case with you, it could be because you're hungry.

Where did u get liquid Tylenol?

I think it may be hunger because I'm definitely hungry! I hate liquids only. My BP was kinda low. Could that cause headaches? I found the liquid Tylenol at CVS pharmacy. It's their brand. Wish I could find grape flavored because this cherry makes me want to throw up!

It hurt a little while she was trying to find the middle of my port with the needle. Only one stick, but a lot of moving around of the needle inside. I felt a little heaviness or pressure in the middle of my chest for a couple hours after the fill. I think that was swelling. After that I felt great. Good luck!

that liquid cherry at cvs is yucky.. tastes like Nyquil or cough syrup. but that's the only flavor I found.

I hate needles and felt nothing during fill... My dr hands hurt more when she was feeling for port but not bad at all

It's horrible! The first drink takes me breath away and I almost choke. Most of the time I suffer through my headache instead of taking that crap. Why the heck can't tylenol make tiny pills???

I had my first fill last Thursday, had a mild headache thru Sunday.. Think I am better now. Maybe dehydration?
