  1. I agree. The thing I find strange is how it's not set across the board. Makes me very happy to have the team I have!! Very clear concise instructions on what to eat when and how.
  2. I was banded the same day and haven't been able to consume more than 3 oz of purée protein at a time as I eat it extremely slow as if it were real food and nothing to drink for 90 Mounties after or 30 minutes before..... Seems like too much you're still healing.
  3. I'm so sorry to hear this and my prayers are with u.
  4. Yep I slept and still am propped up on pillows... It helps so I'm not flat and that's how they had me in the hospital. I find its easier to get in and out of bed that way,,
  5. Write down calories if u t not sure if its too much. Remember that this will pass. Hang in there
  6. It will pass. Hang in there. Rest in between walks take your pain meds if u need them
  7. Awesome!!! Keep up the hard work!!!
  8. Had a good day today.... I'm not able to eat 4 oz of purée protein yet as I haven't much of an appetite. But did two 15-20 minute walks to help relieve the empty stomach gas pressure which helped a lot! Funny to watch tv commercials with food and think that looks good but I'm not interested lol. I can't even imagine trying to eat at this point. In sure this phase will pass but it's where I'm at today. Hope everyone else had a good day.
  9. Do not eat solid food..... Didn't your surgeon give u a meal plan?
  10. Sorry to hear that. At least u have some relief though.
  11. No aleve! It's an NSAID .... Sorry...
  12. My surgeon is only allowing puréed protein no veggies yet;) I'm looking forward to them once I'm allowed! I was able to do my walk and ate the 3 tbs for dinner so that was nice!
  13. There needs to be a love button!!!! Great post!!
  14. I doing bariatric chewable w and I'm supposed to do 4 a day but I. Starting at the two since it made me nauseous and I wasn't able to finish all 3 tbs of puréed meat but ill work my way up to it. I ate very slow and took my time. My body said im done so I'm done. Tasted good though.
  15. The flavor is really good but it looks gross like cat food lol. I just know this wont last long and I don't have much if an appetite. The hardest thing today was taking the vitamins. I got nausea as soon as I took them. I'm just glad it passed quickly ugh..... But the purée tastes better than it looks.
  16. Woke up today and feel pretty good !! Start my puréed protein today so I'm baking turkey burgers and am going to purée these witha little bit of turkey gravy and chicken broth..... Also going to try for the 20minute walk today as its beautiful outside!!!! Hope u all enjoy the day!!
