I didn't a pre-op diet. Just had to get to a certain weight for surgery, but no special pre-op

I weigh myself weekly at weight watchers. I dint follow their plan, but do like weighing in.

I guess it's a good problem to have, but I have to go to a wedding and none of my old suits fit me. They are way too big. I hope I don't look too foolish!

Congrats on your new sleeve. I go to WW weeks to weigh in. I like knowing how much I'm losing.

I had no pre-op diet. I did have to get to a certain weight before surgery though.

You will eat (most) anything you want after surgery, just not as much. That being said, I had a steak and cheese sub for my last supper. Good luck!

Thanks Alex.

Whenever I try to see my subscribed forums on my iPad, the app crashes. I can read my subscribed thread with no problem. I am running iOS 7.1

I joined to have a place to weigh in weekly. No way do I plan on telling them I had WLS.

I told them I'm a difficult draw and they called in the IV team. When I went for my colonoscopy, a year ago, they couldn't get a vein and they called the IV team. They told me to ask for them. I start to get really nervous and sweaty and start hyperventilating. Good luck.

Just saw a commercial for lean cuisines saying they have 13g of Protein. Has anyone tried these? Wondering how high the carb/sugar intake is.
I know everyone's one NUT is different, but mine ok's TV dinners. I had the WW meatloaf. It is 19 g of protein. Sugars are low. Yes they have sodium, but sine I am now having little sodium; it is not a concern for me. They do have carbs but again, I am not consuming any other carbs.

I had one. I didn't even know it was in. I also was apparently urinating and didn't know it. It did feel strange coming out, but nowhere near as bad as I feared.

I am post-op 8 days and just last evening was I able to "tolerate" a little side sleeping...recliner helps but then you get a little neck pain...soon I'm hoping it gets better. There is one incision in particular that seems a little more sore than the others. Getting tired of full-liquid diet however:(
I can't wait for my surgeon/NUT appointment on Friday so I can move to Stage 4. I was sleeved on 12/2.

As teachamy said, "Lately, I have been looking at the eating habits of the thin people at work. Their choices are healthier, their portions are small, and they seem fine."
I did this at Thanksging dinner when we went out to eat. I wasn't on a pre-op, but had to weigh in pre surgery at a certain weight so I ate light. Now I know Thanksgiving is an "eating" holiday, but I couldn't believe all the food. I don't want to eat like that again.

You look amazing. So much younger. Congrats.
Do you feel weird telling people exactly how many pounds you've lost?

I have lost 80 so far bad probably have another 80 to go. I will probably stop saying a number. I feel so much better, but don't want them doing the math or saying wow you really were big.
