I think you may be still healing and it has only been two weeks... Me it has been 8 days I have no clue yet and am learning, learning, learning... Yesterday I had the hungry horrors and ate all the cottage cheese, yogurt, Soup, and shakes I could!! Good luck with your journey you'll do great

You've probably gone ahead and gotten banded. But I do want to chime in and say that I totally know where you're coming from. I was terrified before I got my band' date=' for the same reasons. I decided to give in to faith and do it, praying everything would work out. My desire to be healthy outweighed my desire to be obese. I guess you'll say at that point, I'd do anything.

I want to vouch for what everyone else has said. Issues with the band seem to be few and far between, or caused by those with no control. Or underlying issues they haven't corrected (continuing to binge, etc). Do not be scared. Go into it, and be passionate. Work your journey, never allowing yourself to fail. I have Dr. Glasgow and I'm having surgery Tuesday 21st and I love him and his staff!! They are all great!!! Easy going, very easy to talk too!!! And they have an awesome support system. Highly recommend him! Good luck

Starting to get nervous and scared about lapband reading all these negative/ horror stories are bothering me.... Ugh I do know not everyone's journey is gonna smooth sailing, we are bound to have rocky roads ( mmmm) and hit a pot hole or two.... Just needed to vent thanks

I'm on day 5 of pre-op and yes it is hard, but it gets easier and easier.... And I have to cook and deal with the snackings of my to boys of who is 15 today and one who is 3 1/2 OY!!! Half way over but it truly is getting better and I'm feeling less hungry... But peeing my brains out haha good luck you can do it!!!!!!

My surgery is May 21st!! I'm currently on my Pre-Op diet (day 6) I was supposed to start on Tuesday but I started on Sunday

I'm glad to see people getting banded on the same day I am! I'm excited and nervous but who isn't?!

Well its almost a week away I can't wait!
