4.5 cc in my 10 cc band and I feel nothing. Still able to eat just about anything I try to take small bites but sometimes I forget. So far no issues or restrictions. I go to bed most nights hungry but that is because I don't want to stretch my band and just patiently waiting to get to the green zone. Counting down every 2 weeks for a new fill..

Patience is key. I had my 2nd fill last week and my band is too tight. It's painful when I eat and everything comes back up. I'm going in tomorrow for an unfill and I'm looking forward to it. So my advice is' date=' be patient. I'd rather go slow and steady than have the horrible pain of being over-filled.[/quote']Sorry, you are having horrible pain and having to go back for an un-fill. I guess each person is different. That is what I do not understand why it is that one person may be over-filled at 3.5 cc's or less whereas some are feeling no restrictions whatsoever at 4.5 or 6 cc's or worse yet some don't reach green zone until 7 or more..

I am 6 weeks post op and have had 2 fills, 2cc's at 4 weeks then 2 weeks later another 2.5 cc. Now I have 4.5 cc's in a 10 cc band. I can still eat everything and quite honestly do not chew as thoroughly as I should but that is because i don't feel any restrictions and have no complications whatsoever. It is frustrating to go to bed hungry but I DO stop myself from eating more than I know I should and just waiting patiently to be in the green zone. So far it feels like I am dieting but I've managed to lose average 2 lbs a week. Been reading everyone's post and just want to say a BIG Thank You to all who have gone through this and who have taken the time to share their experiences.

Banded on 3/21 and trying very hard to hang in thereAverage calories over seven days
Week 1 - 795
Week 2 - 876
Week 3 - 1073
Week 4 - 1275
Total weight loss 15lbs but all in the first two weeks. Friday can't come fast enough I am now in bandster hell.
Same thing here. I had surgery on 3/19. Most of the weight loss was during 2 weeks pre-op and post-op liquid diet. I went in for my first fill last week, it was 2cc but I do not feel any difference. The doctor said it may take up to 6cc's to feel the difference but he wants to do it gradually and wait two weeks between each fill. Hopefully next week with a total of 4cc, I will start to notice a difference. Right now I have to limit what I eat and make myself stop because I can eat just about anything.
