  2. I am due to have band removal on Nov. 30th then sleeved 8 weeks later. I was banded in 2013 and lost 42 lbs but that's all. Every time they tightened the band I would get so sick and reflux is so bad. I slime all the time. It was getting to the point I could not eat hardly anything. Even Soup was an issue at times. 3. I had by band put in March of 2013. I lost 48lbs no problem. But as I continued to get filled, I started getting reflux bad, my food kept getting stuck even slider foods. I slime all the time. My doctor doesn't even put the bands in anymore. I still don't eat much and can not eat meat at all since being banded. I go in to have the band removed at the end of this month. Then will be sleeved 8 weeks after. Sent from my Z963VL using the BariatricPal App

  12. Ok so I went for my first fill yesterday...and may I say I was worried over nothing. My doc put in 1cc he said I was doing great but because I am still feeling restriction when eating he didnt want to over do it by putting in 3ccs. And I am glad he did 1cc because when I got up this morning I could hardly eat lol. I go back in 6 weeks for my next fill.
  13. I was banded on March 19, it took until April 25 to actually start feeling completely normal around my incisions. I was able to lay on my stomach without the tenderness. But all of a sudden today for some reason I went to lay on my side and then when I turned over there the tenderness was again...ugh now all day it has been tender wtf? I go to my doctor this Monday but has anyone else had this problem? Will I ever feel normal? The doctor said I should be able to do anything that I was doing before...whether wrestling around, hard-core exercise etc....but it doesnt seem like I ever will be able to do anything like that. Frustrated!

  23. I have a friend who has had her band in for 2 months now and she is able to eat anything she wants as long as she chews it well and takes small bites. However she says she cant eat much at once though. So I am gonna assume it will be different for everyone.
  24. I agree to stick to your own doctors orders but the reason I asked this question was so I can discuss it with my doctor when I go in to see him on the 8th.
