So my paperwork was submitted Monday, and my dr just called and it was approved!!!! I'm so excited, and happy and anxious! I'm def surprised they approved so fast! My surgery is the 30th! This def has made my day, my weekend, and the rest of my life!

Mama, your so there I can taste it! I had my paych eval, pulmonoligist clearance 2 years weight history, something saying I was registered at a gym or weight watchers of something along those lines for a yea, I did a swollow study, a letter from my pcp.,,hmmm I think that may be it... I was lucky thank god!

That def doesn't sound terrible at all! I was thinking the worst! Don't ask me y lol

I'm getting my shopping list together and was wondering what types of meat and fishes i should buy and veggies for my pre op diet...

I know it def does! I'm ready to start my life... I really didnt have many hoops to jump threw, just getting a lot of stuff together like the 2 yr weight history was a pain! And the letter from my psych was a nightmare to get but I got it... And you will too! You will do awesome! What are your pre requirements? If u don't mind me asking?

Yup everything went ok with me being on subutex... I'm just a little worried about coming off of it 48 hours before surgery...but I don't have a choice... I def don't won't the pain medicine to not work! This all is just a blessing for all of us! As much as I hate pictures I'll def take before photos!

Thank u so much! I've been struggling my whole life and I finally feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Our journey Is just beginning and I know it won't be easy but it will be worth it! We're all going to do great! Now if these 2 weeks would just fly by that would be awesome ???œ

I don't understand these ins company's! We pay them! There suppose to work for us.. Not give us hell about trying to make our lives better!

Only day 3 of being submitted and I'm already getting anxious! It's like a awful waiting game.. The insurance company's make this so difficult! In the meantime I'm probably giving myself an ulcer being so nervous and anxious about finding out if I will be approved.. And my surgery date is may 30th! So I'm worried if they don't make a decision it will be rescheduled...

Wow you look amazing! It's like a totally different person! Get those bathing suits ready! That's the one thing I can't wait to do! I've been so embarrassed I havnt worn a bathing suit without a sun dress in forever! Good luck to u! I can't wait to start my journey my paperwork were all just faxed yest. To the insurance... Bb, I think it's terrible the your sisters will not support you! I myself have 2 sisters... And neither one of them want me to have this done either, because my one sister was heavy and lost a great deal if weight "the old fashion wat" she keeps telling me to do the sane! I've done that for years and yes it works for a few lbs n then all comes back! We are trying to get our selfs healthy, as I'm pretty sick and praying this will help! And my parents don't think it's a great idea but they will support me no matter what,, if you ever need to talk or vent, feel free to shoot me an email! Everyone here is great and a great support team!

Finally got I'm all of my paperwork this morning, everything is being submitted to my insurance horizon nj direct access TODAY! So excited, and nervous! I'm hoping the approval will go quick, because they scheduled my surgery for may 30th! So now is just the waiting game for approval... I would think that they wouldn't make the appt for surgery if they didnt think I would be approved? How long does nj direct take usually? My pre op appt is next week and then I start my high protein no carb diet next Thursday I guess, he said a week b4 surgery... So this is really happening!

I def have to try and find them, I've heard pretty good things about that.... Do you buy it online? And they have a chicken soup flavor? I love chocolate! I'll def be living off of chocolate protein shakes! Lol
