Definitely keep sipping! You need the water to help you keep hydrated and to keep moving things through. Everyone says to walk, walk, walk and that defintely helped me. Congrats on your surgery!!!
-
Best of luck to you!!!!

It sounds to me like you need a fill. Definitely go see your doctor once he/she is back in the office. I went today for my first fill and my Dr told me that if I start to feel hungry again within 2 weeks to come back for another fill.

Same here! I go on Wed and I am hoping for a fill...will see but I'm definitely hungrier than I was! Ugh. Hang in there! -
If you feel this is the best thing for YOU, then you are making the right decision. My mom wasn't thrilled with the idea at first, but then she completely came around. Sometimes we need to put ourselves first and do what we think is right for ourselves. They might just come around and be supportive. I would just tell them that this is what you believe is truly the best for you and ask for their support regardless. That's what real friends would do!

Up to you and you alone. I know it's hard when family gets their opinions involved, but what do YOU want?

That's great, I love it!

It is definitely tough- but I felt better after the 3rd day, it started to be easier on me. The sugar free popsicles were a big help. I found ones that were only 10 calories and they helped me a lot make it through! Keeping busy helps as well....I went to bed early every night too, and that also helped me!

Yes, water, hot tea and sugar free popsicles.

The emotions you are having are completely normal, especially 2 weeks out of surgery. I'll be 3 weeks out on Monday and believe me there are ups and downs and emotions running wild! What you are feeling is so normal. You are still healing from the surgery and when I tell you it gets better, even just being 1 week ahead of you I mean it. I'm eating a lot more now than I was and trying out different foods. There are a lot of healthy recipes online that you can search for, in particular fried rice that you might want to make yourself when you can and try how you like it. You went through the surgery for a reason and remember that. Don't get down on yourself and definitely see your therapist to talk things out. We're all here for you.

Definitely takes some time but once you really start to heal you will start feeling like doing more. Walks helped me and getting some fresh air

scrambled egg is what I had and it was the whole egg. Good protein and mushy enough for me to get down.
-
That is pretty much too what I ate the yogurt, eggs, fat free milk during my second week.

Hi everyone, Starting out now slowly on real foods. My doctor told me that he wants me to eat mushy foods and some solid foolds to see how I do with them. I'm torn on what to eat for Breakfast. Any ideas?

Keep walking and you will get rid of sone of the gas. Also try some "smooth move" tea its organic and helps to move you along which will let some of the gas out. It helped me. -
On top of the world!!
