  1. Just curious as to what everyone's green zone is. Recently had 2 cc added, which put me at a total of 4cc in a 10cc band. But that was too much! I went back 3 days later because I could barely keep liquids down and now I'm at 3cc. I'm told everyone is different, some can have 7cc and some are fine at 2cc. Input please...

  2. Hi New, I was banded on 4/11/13....My first doc. appt. is next Tuesday and not sure if I want a fill because of the nervousness about eating regular food...lol. Sounds kinda stupid to me but it is what it is. I'm also down 25 pounds and back into alot of my jeans and such. I hope to lose 60+ more in the months to come. Good luck to you!! Let me know how your doc visit went please...so I know what to expect. :)
That date is 2013 not 12....I will keep you posted!

  3. I'm on the puréed stage too. This is day one for me. What's the average meal size for it? It says I should be eating 5-6 small meals a day, but how much should I be eating? Lol I'm thinking 1 cup but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

I'm doing 2oz. portions per meal. What type of food have you been eating?

  4. So I had to post this somewhere! I am still in mushies(pureed) stage. I made a fabulous buffalo chicken salad! So yummy!

    Recipe:

1 can of chicken breast chunks' date=' drained

1 wedge of Laughing Cow Light Blue cheese flavor

1 T of light Miracle Whip or Light mayo

    Pepper to taste

1-2 T of Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce (to taste)

Throw all ingredients into food processor and blend until smooth![/quote']

    Sound good....will try! Thanks :-)

  5. I'm starting the puree stage today and wanted to know what are some meals or snack that some of you had at this stage. Just want a few ideas that may help me out a little. Is this stage also call the "mushies"? I see that a lot but wasn't sure if that was this stage or the soft food stage. Any input is greatly appreciated!! :)

  6. So far all is good! My hospital experience was wonderful! I admit I was very nervous but the staff helped calm my nerves. A little uncomfortable at times but no serious pain, thank God! I'm feeling a little hungry right now but hopefully my doctor will give me the go ahead to puree diet soon! I'm confident I made the best decision of my life!
