Heartburn night two...
I have been on the same medicines for two years nothing has changed.... Well except for my anxiety meds... They switched me from cymbalta to Zoloft but that was more that a month ago.... If it continues I am definitely going to call the dr.... I just had an unfill about three weeks ago and we are really trying to get to my proper amount of fluid that needs to be in my band.... Once I am there I think I will be so much happier and better!!!!

Thank you everyone!!!! I went to the dr and he removed some of the fluid..... I feel the difference now.... Dr Neff is an amazing surgeon!!!!- Major complications.... Forceful vomiting the past few days....
So I have been doing really great with my band since I had my surgery in November, but the past couple days it felt like I had no restriction and then all of a sudden EVERYTHING has been getting stuck.... Last night the vomiting was so forceful that i have blotches on my face and nearly almost broke blood vessels in my eyes.... I need to know if this is normal or if I should see a doctor?!?! My first and only adjustment was in January so it's not tight!!!- Any mushy/soft food ideas?
I was banded two weeks before turkey day and I was cleared for stage 2 (mushy foods) about 2-3 days before and I enjoyed a smidgen of everything it took me like an hour because I sat there and cheer everything until it was mush!!!!! If you look up Emily bites she has some really great food ideas on there and they are portioned smaller for people on weight watchers or those who had Bariatric surgery..... I hope this helps!!!! Good luck with your journey!!!! :-D- Four and a half months in...
Thank you so much!!!! I do feel great!!!! I have my moments but then I look at the before photo and think I have come this far I am not stopping now!!!- Four and a half months in...

Thank you so much!!!! It has been an interesting road finding foods that work and don't work and then having to go back to stage 1 a few times because even yogurt would get stuck!!!! But honestly after YEARS of battling with my weight the band is the best thing that has ever happened to me(besides my husband)!!!!- Four and a half months in...
- Did anyone have a problem with pop/soda?
It definitely will, I used to be huge on monster energy drinks and nos energy drinks like 4-6 20oz cans a day, it was my quick energy when i didn't feel like making coffee(due to being over weight and LAZY)!!!! I cut them out about 2 months before my surgery and lost about 13-15 lbs before the surgery.... I drink coffee still but I use Splenda and skim milk or non dairy creamer(plain)!- So Happy I can hardly describe it!
Congrats!!!! I love hearing and seeing the success stories of other lap band patients.... I wish you a lot of luck in your continued journey to reaching your goal!!!!- Did anyone have a problem with pop/soda?
I have not touched soda since the surgery but coffee.... I am a huge coffee drinker!!!! I love my French vanilla creamer by international delight.... And the good news is they make the sugar free!!!!!- Four and a half months in...
Thank you!!!! I do when I get the chance.... I work full time and go to school full time to be a professional photographer so I get exercise when I'm taking pictures and when I am doing school work I put weights on my ankles and do leg lifts!!!! The big loss does help a lot with the motivation because I want to get to my goal of 160- at most 165..... And I have a LONG way to go!!!! My total weight loss will be 190 lbs when I hit my final goal.... But for right now I make small goals of 25 lbs!!!!
