Hello to all !!! Alot of you have been asking how I a doing well I am ding ALoT better than I ever expected of course I am very swelled an sore. I also had hernia repair. I am taking my pain meds also. But I have something else to say we are certified foster parents an tonight I got a call for a placement of a 10 ur old girl . Knowing how much pain I was in I was reluctant at first to take her but we recently adopted an 8 yr old an thought this would help my Lil girl also for a playmate so we said yes !! I'm not saying this to get praise but I just wanted to share how when you are at your worse an unsure what's next. God sent joy to a little girl tonight an our family as well knowing she is safe now . Thanks to everyone for your concern I mean this from the bottom if my heart

I thinks everyone does pain different I would have given atleast 2 days before I would have went to work good luck keep us posted please

Thanks Nikki I am so sore an layed up in the recliner I had alot of trouble getting outta the bed today so looked like this will be my bed tonight. I am very very swelled ESP on the left side an that is what hurts the most at the moment I appreciate your thoughts an kindness to me

I ran alot an ask the surgeon before I even got banded an it doesn't the only thing is they suggest wait abou 3 weeks after surgery . Due to the sutures may cause more scarring or something to that effect, hope this helped us tanners some

I am being banded tomorrow an I am so excited but nervous also please remember me tomorrow

Woke up this am an couldn't sleep. Guess I have the surgery jitters a day early. Alot of mixed emotions going through me right now. I am so happy that I am being banded an still can't beleive it is happening it happened so quick just 2 days shy of my first appt last month am now I am going to be banded. I will be glad for my new journey an the support that I have from my friends am family it's a challenge that I'm ready to take along with my lapbandtalk buddies. I keep thinking now i will be able to run in the yard with my grandbaby an share moments with the two that we just adopted that are 5 an 8. i feel i have also just started over in parenthood because my kids are 17 yr 19 yr and 21 yrs old. Thanks to all of you for taking the time to read my forum an PLEASE remember me tomorrow

Yep my surgery is finally tomorrow an I'm so nervous. Been fine this whole process so far just can't believe it's finally almost time

Being banded tomorrow an day 3 of liquids and it went good so far instead of the chicken broth I use the Ramon noodles an them drain broth from that an season more to taste and alot less cheaper than the noodle broth from Campbell's are plain broth in a can an alot different flavor choices
