  1. I'm 12 days out and just started itching this wknd too!!
  2. I've been having a hard time too. I have been on Paxil for 15yrs which has always kept my anxiety/ depression in check. I had surgery may 21st and a few days later my anxiety came back despite the Paxil. I've had a rough few days and got in to see my pcp yesterday morning. They increased my Paxil and prescribed me Ativan as well. I really hope things get better.
  3. Congrats hun! That's awesome! I can't wait to get there. I have a little while to go since I'm 8 days po.
  4. I woke up in the recovery area. I was pretty groggy bc of the anesthesia but wasn't really in any pain. Just soreness from the incisions. I was pleasantly surprised with how good I actually felt. The only time I hit the morphine button was at night to help me sleep. My roommate and I have done so well we're being discharged tonight. My best advice to you is to sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk! You'll do fine!
  5. I was sleeved today and am pleasantly surprised with how good I feel. No nausea or vomiting. Just the occasional gas pains which are tolerable. The worst part is having dry mouth! I can't wait to be able to drink water tomorrow morning!!
  6. Thanks for the update! Glad to hear you're doing well. The worst is behind you now! I'm going in in about an hour. Soooo nervous!
  7. I'm so nervous all of a sudden! Am I really doing this? Good luck to all of us today!!

  15. I'm sorry to hear that but on to MUCH better things! It's a new beginning for you in so many ways! You have a bright and happy future ahead girl! Congrats and good luck on the 5th!
  16. Yay that's so exciting!!!! Let me know when your date is! I can't wait to have this done already. My name is Jessica
  17. Btw where are you from? I'm in Patriots country in MA.
  18. No. My insurance requires a 6mo supervised program. I'm finished May 7 so I will hopefully be approved a few days after and will be set for surgery the end of May. The surgeon won't give a date without insurance approval first. How about you?
  19. Right now I'm drinking generic slim fast shakes, mostly to make sure I'm at my starting weight when I see my surgeon for the last time on April 24th. I can look at food and gain weight!!
  20. I'm right in your boat Patriotsfan. I had been doing really well but really messed up this wknd. Went to a birthday party and another get together and ate everything I shouldn't. The only thing I stayed away from was alcohol. I'm back to my French vanilla protein shake this morning.
  21. I feel like I am reading my own words! It's comforting to be able to talk to people who can relate. I really dig this site.
