I love this site because we can all relate to each other! I too have my doubts but I know in my heart it's the right decision for me. I think we're all nervous bc of the unknown especially bc it's permanent. But once I imagine myself a year from now, healthy, happy and with a self confidence I haven't had in years it cements my decision to go ahead with the surgery. Good luck with any decision you ultimately make!
Thanks. I'm trying like hell to drop the last 5lbs. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them! I've been drinking TONS of water every day and cut all alcohol and junk out. Maybe I should try slim fast?
I have Tufts insurance and was told I didn't have to lose any weight prior to surgery. I gained about 10lbs between Oct and Feb bc of the holidays. When I saw the np for a follow up in Feb she said she wants me to lose the 10lbs by the end of March bc she doesn't want insurance to deny me. I've lost 5lbs so far and am so nervous that I could be denied over a few lbs. Has anyone had this issue before??
