saw a new surgeon. having an upper GI then endoscopy done first week of april. band has been very tight this week. part of my issues. doc wants me to consider bypass and not the sleeve. thinks i will have better results....very fustrated..

thanks everyone! i have my upper gi 4/2 then endo 4/10...i have some other testing in between. will keep everyone updated!

Thank you so much Towanda, had some small complication with sugar levels but i fixed that, got po-op followup tomorrow looking forward to getting on their scale...Walking into my appt is my and will be my Miracal Moment

I got banded in 2005 also...very very little weightloss...I eventually gained the 40 pounds I lost back, plus 20 more....I also developed a pouch over the top of my band...my doc was hoping that it would go down after he unfilled my band, but it shrunked just abit....what he did was started my VSG under where I developed the pouch...which means that my weightloss is a bit slower and I can eat a bit more than the typical patient...I'm just happy to be 98 pounds lost and still losing praise God!
I revisied to VSG on 6/11/12 and I'm loving every bit of it....
