I was banded on 4/19 and have struggled with no restriction. I went for my fourth fill last Thursday for a total of 3.8cc. Finally, I have restriction!! It has been wonderful. I am soooo excited.

Able to go from 3 pills a day to 2....the doctor stated I will probably be off all meds in a few months! Two years ago, my A1C was over 8. I'm so excited...I wanted the lapband for mainly health reasons with the weight loss as a bonus. Can't wait for the future!!!!

I received my second fill yesterday, 1.6 cc for a total of 2.6 cc. I finally feel some restriction!!! Yes!!! So excited and anxious to get to the green zone...

I am 20 years old and dec 15 was the day that changed my life for the better! I was banded and proud of it. My life has dramatically changed and so far I'm down 50 pounds!! To make things even better I was asked out on a date by a gym trainer! ME! The girl who has always been chubby since adolescence! Going out on a date! I can't help but smile ear to ear. Sorry for venting on this thing but I can't hide my joy :-) hope everyone is experiencing many joyous events with your new lives.

My surgery is April 19th. I started the liver diet this morning....so excited and nervous!! Hope the time flys....seems like it gets slower the closer it gets to the 19th!!!
