  1. I had my hiatial hernia repaired then they slapped the band on. That was how the insurance covered my surgery.
  2. Handsome couple. Congratulations to the both of you.
  3. Because we did a barium xray to see how I was looking on the inside because I had the problem before in my journey by eating to fast and taking big bites. I don't do that anymore. I have learned my lesson.
  4. So sorry to hear about this. Hope all goes well for u.
  5. No, no problem for me cooked or raw. I just take really small bites and chew, chew, chew.
  6. Thank you. As of this morning I passed it by a pound. I'm not even trying to lose it's just that the band is doing its thing and I'm not exercising like I used too. It's a great feeling.
  7. I was a slow loser. I think it's best because u aren't prone to eat as much and your body truly adapts to eating smaller portions which will aid in you keeping your weight off longer.
  8. Amazing. Congratulations!
  9. You look marvelous! Congratulations!!
  10. I too had coffee the evening of and the next day after my surgery. Can't live without it.
  11. Oh ok. Good luck on your journey
  12. Yes, I have. It's on my ticker
  13. Incredible! Congratulations!
  14. Actually you sound just like me. It took me two and a half years to lose 81 pounds and reach my goal weight. What I did was stopped working out for a few days, watched my caloric intake and then started my workout again. I think our bodies just get tired sometimes. I also would incorporate a day of liquids as well to give my band and stoma a break. Then sure enough, the scale would move again. Hope this helps. Good luck.
  15. Aww you look great. Also you can click on my picture and it will bring you to my profile page where my pictures are.
  16. Congratulations on your accomplishments. Keep on going.
  17. It really depends on the restaurant but I mostly stick with chicken or fish.
  18. I totally relate to what you are saying. Awesome journey. Congratulations.
  19. Personally, I didn't have a problem telling people and if you are going to be in the position of eating out on a regular with friends, U just might want to let them know. Hopefully they will be supportive. I know my friends and family are and I love being catered to. Good luck.
  20. Awesome and congratulations!
