  9. Wow! After reading some of these stories I'm glad I didn't have to do this.
  10. Like the others I too chose the band because it's reversible and the fact that I didn't want my insides all cut up. I too have friends and relatives who have had the bypass and they lost all that weight and now it's like they had nothing done. Why go through all that if you're not going to stick with it? Makes no sense to me. Good luck with your decision.
  11. What wonderful news. Congratulations to no more meds. Woohoo!!
  12. Lol too funny.

  14. What I did was purchase a belt with holes all the way round so I wouldn't have to keep buying one and drilling holes. Awesome! Congratulations!

  17. Yes that's what we are supposed to do is wait at least two hours but I never did. I drink with my food and I'm almost three years out.
  18. I am almost three years post op and I have dilated my pouch two or three times. Fluid would be removed and I was placed on liquids for a week and then mushies and then solid foods. After four weeks I was back to normal. Good luck.
  19. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully next to time will be better.
  20. So why would one's hair fall out? I don't understand.
