  1. So, I've attempted to do this for a couple of days but I just can't do it. I don't know how you're able to eat that much, but my sleeve just won't allow me to. I got up to 1200 calories once like three days ago, and I am still full. I'm averaging 750-900 calories on average. I guess I'll be stuck in the 190s for a while. 7 weeks post op and risking it

Yes, I was good after 4 weeks postop. I didn't eat raw vegetables, but cooked ones. Then at five weeks, I added lettuce and have been eating salads ever since. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

1.5 years out & still throwing up?

I’m just glad I finally got someone to listen to me. And that is the key!!!! Finding the right doctor to truly listen to you is vital to our health. I had to change back doctors last year for the very reason. I'm so glad your surgery went well and you're home recovering. Continued success and blessings. Complete lap band failure

Knowing what I know now about the band and have experienced major issues with it, I would say revision is necessary. I just recently revised to the sleeve in November. It's weird because it still feels as though my band is still there without the stuck feeling. I am very restricted and you would think I am half way to goal, but no. I've only lost 14 pounds since my surgery. I'm happy because I'm not gaining lol. Anyway, by all means, consult with your surgeon and do what you feel is best. Good luck! 13. I totally agree. It's not even about the US vs Canada. Just the doctors here in the US are so diverse, especially right here in Houston. You would think we should be doing the same things at the same time, but no, we're not. Totally weird. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I'm a sleeve patient and I was provided with Omeprazole the day I was released from the hospital. I have only taken it maybe three times as I have noticed certain foods I have eaten gave me that funny almost heartburn feeling. I was not given any directions from my doctor as to how long I should be on this, and my bariatric doctor's name isn't on the prescription. I don't know who this is smh. Maybe it's his partner he told me about at my 4 week follow up (shrugs). Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. Maybe there's other health issues going on that you're not aware of. Maybe you need a complete checkup to find out what's going on. Best of luck! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I know you said you didn't want a fill, but if you would get maybe 1/2 cc, it could possibly make a world of difference in you having restriction. Just think about it. Trust me, I've been there done that lots of times. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Complete lap band failure

I believe the issue here is the fact that your band is not filled. You have got to get the follow up care in order for it to work. You stated that you had twins and your saline was taken out. Why didn't you have it put back in after six weeks or so from giving birth? After care is the most important part of any wls, especially the band. I had restriction only because I did eat what I was supposed to and when I lost weight and felt I could eat more, I made me an appointment and had myself checked. Sure enough I would need a fill to take up the space from losing weight. Unfortunately 8 1/2 years later, I began having problems with it. It slipped, I lost restriction, gained almost all of the weight I lost, and now I'm sleeved. I don't get stuck anymore thank God. I still have restriction after I eat. What has changed for me is my taste buds. I can't eat or drink anything with a lot of sugar and I AM SOOOO HAPPY [emoji846]. Sugar was my addiction/problem and since I've been sleeved for almost two months now, I don't have that problem anymore. My suggestion is to get a fill so that you can get back on track. If you're mind is absolutely made up on having revision surgery, then good luck to you and best wishes. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. Thanks for that explanation. My surgery date is November 18th, and I'm reading posts to see what I need to know postop. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    14-day Pre-op Starts Today

My surgery date is also November 18th, but I only have four days to prep before surgery. You're doing great. Keep up the good work. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. Update: My surgery has been moved up a week. It's going to be on November 18th. I just hope I can last that long. Having this band still in me is MISERABLE to say the least. I've been really sick these past few days just laying in bed. I finally felt pretty good yesterday and woke up this morning like I wanted to puke every where. I even was in the beginning stages of having a migraine. I don't know what's the deal with this crazy body of mine. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Constipation

Wow! Thank you. I'm using a gentle laxative plus I've been eating some fiber cookies every morning. They're pretty good. Not too sweet and 100 calories. [emoji846] Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Getting Stuck

When I have gotten stuck from not chewing my food to mush, I would drink a lot of water and it would either go down, or come back out. Another reason why I can't wait to get this thing out. I forget to chew, chew, chew. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
