  1. First I want to let everyone know it's been awhile since I've been on here.... But I've been doing great when I first began my journey I had the lap band procedure (4/09/2013) than had it removed (08/11/2014) it just wasn't working for me and at the same time the band was removed I had the gastric sleeve done... I am proud to say that I have officially lost 138.7 lbs since my journey began! I couldn't be more happier with my decisions and would not change a thing... I've had my struggles (obviously) but pushed through and am succeeding I still have another 40lbs to go and I am hoping that I will hit that by August... Very excited to finally be in ONEderland!! Had to share
  2. I was banded in April of 2013 and had it removed and was sleeved on aug 11 I feel like I made the best decision I could have made I wish I would have done the sleeve first but now that I've done it I feel so much better and feel like this will work I was working out and eating "what I could" with the band (which wasn't bad foods just things like chicken wouldn't go down so it wasn't the best of foods) I am curious how it will be now that I have been sleeved I am only 4 days out of surgery and doing great with the liquids and so far post surgery have lost 5 pounds I am sure that's from being on ONLY liquids but will continue to try to succeed! But I do believe it was the best decision I could have made as of right now! Will keep everyone posted on my journey! ❤️❤️
  3. Don't get discouraged you can do it! Keep pushing and continue to succeed! 30 lbs is great my weight loss started slow but has finally picked up... It took me a while to adjust being banded but I think I finally got it.. Lol! But you can do it just keep trying and it will happen for you... I was banded in April and have finally lost about 75 lbs. it seemed like a lifetime to start losing and get in the green zone!! DONT BE DISCOURAGED!! You can do it... Everyone's body is different and adjusting to the band is different!!
  4. I feel like that too sometimes I think we all kind of go through that phase lol.. But you shouldn't compare your weight loss with anyone else's everyone is different and we all lose weight at different paces... You will lose the weight and you will not be that one person it doesn't work for because this is a tool to help you lose weight and it seems you are following the right diet... It will work it just takes time!! Hang in there and good luck
