Not happy :(

Well I have been banded since March 2013. So far lost 35lbs :)

Downfall :(

Recently was diagnosed with Bell's palsy! And on steroids :( I have been trying my best to limit my meals and try to do more workouts just so I don't gain my weight back. Hopefully this shall pass as well :)

Strange coincidence, I was banded 12/12 and was also just diagnosised with b.palsy. I was only given meds for ten days. Symptoms have lessened. Good luck to you.

  • 3 weeks later...

I was banded in March 2013 and have only lost about 30# as well. I'm getting discouraged.

Don't get discouraged you can do it! Keep pushing and continue to succeed! 30 lbs is great my weight loss started slow but has finally picked up... It took me a while to adjust being banded but I think I finally got it.. Lol! But you can do it just keep trying and it will happen for you... I was banded in April and have finally lost about 75 lbs. it seemed like a lifetime to start losing and get in the green zone!! :) DONT BE DISCOURAGED!! You can do it... Everyone's body is different and adjusting to the band is different!! :)

I'm disabled and have to take certain meds that prevent me from losing as fast as I'd like. Hang in there. I had a bout with Bell's Palsy when I was 18 yrs old so don't get discouraged. There is a higher power that will carry you through this .
