  1. Hello it has been a long time since I have been on here or on Fitness Pal. I have sort of given up. I eat everything in moderation, I have not exercised in a lonnnnngggg while. I have been banded since March 8,2013. I have not gained nor have I lost anymore. But I have lost in inches, it shows in all of my clothes. I eat more than I should, i just feel hungry after eating 1 cup which is what they say I should be eating.I drink lots of Water trying to get rid of the hungry feeling. I don't want to give up, I want to reach my goal weight. I just need to quit making excuses and JUST DO IT, I DID NOT GO THROUGH THIS SURGERY FOR NOTHING! I so want to get to onederland! Any advice, reprimand or encouragement will be greatly appreciated.10 cc band and it is filled to 6.0, I am starving!!! :blush:


  2. I was wondering about this pain because, I had not experienced it in the beginning. I was banded March 8,2013, but I have had it constantly for the last week or so and really bad this morning when I layed on my stomach, and it goes into my neck or that is how it feels. I got scared. :wacko: I hope some of the suggestion on here help. Thanks and have a blessed Sunday!!


  3. I don't allow myself to lie about my eating. I do eat at fast food places. I just try to watch what and how much. I don't do the meals or combos because I cannot do the sodas. I try to look for the healthiest thing on the menu, if I find that what I have eaten goes over on my calorie intake then I adjust what I eat for dinner to something like a Protein Shake. but for the most part I eat alot at home and everything is baked.


  4. Banded March 8,2013 I have not shared too much of anything. I have been hard on myself for my weaknesses. But this past week I was able to put a button up blouse on that I love and had not been able to wear comforatably because the buttons looked like they were going to pop. I have had a bad week eating wise but Thursday when I tried that shirt on and was able to button it and had room to spare OMGoodness, I was on cloud nine. My scale is my worst enemy, but I realized that what I have not lost in lbs, I have lost in inches :o . So this morning I was dressing and was able to get into a pair of size 20 jeans that a month ago I could not get my hips past the waist band. Honestly so very happy to see that I am making progress, and then my OH so brutally honest 14 year old daughter said "Wow mom I can really see where you have lost some weight." :) So yeah me and all the bandsters that are making progress on this journey! We Can Do This!!!!


  5. Keep up the good work Haters are gonna hate no matter how supportive you are to them. When people down you for your efforts it is because they are really dissatisfied with the lack of effort in themselves. And they think it makes them look good to talk down on someone else. My Motto is I don't care what anyone says or thinks about me because NO ONE knows me like I do. And I am the only one who can control how Jackie feels about Jackie. "I can't control another person's behaviour toward me; neither will I allow their behavior to control me" always remember that saying and stay positive... :)


  6. hoping for some help. i just got my band last wednesday and for some reason today i can't get enough food. it seem as nothing is staying with me long. the dr said to be on pureed food for two week i don't think i can make it that long...i started yesterday just chewing everything really good and eating softer food but today nothing is working to stop my hunger....i really hope someone on here can help me out on what i should or shouldn't be doing

    I had the same problem, So I did start eating a little earlier than I was suppose to with really soft food. I am by no way shape or form telling you it is right, just letting you know you should try to stick as close to what drs orders are as possible. Make sure you eat your protiens and lots of Water to help abate the hunger. Good luck and don't give up!!! You can do this.
