  1. Well...I had my one year anniversary last week. I have lost 100.2 lbs and 12 pant sizes. If you are at the beginning of your journey' date=' it is worth every ounce of doubt, fear, and pain. Take a deep breath and jump. It is worth it![/quote']

I just want to cry right now... Congrats.. I hope to be able to say the same to. Keep up the good work.

  2. I had gallbladder surgery 2x, one in 2007 with pancreatitis from the stones horrible horrible experience wouldn't wish on worst enemy. Just recently had another gallbladder attack and pancreatitis in December 2011 apparently they left duct to long and it got infected and created a new pouch they thought was a gallbladder and tried to tell me I was crazy my gallbladder was never removed in 2007 because they can see it in ultrasound and MRI. They finally got medical records and realized it was infected duct had surgery in february 2012 to fix surgery boo boo from 07...You definitely want it out pancreatitis is not pretty...recovery uncomfortable not unbearable.

  5. Hi there!

Good luck on your upcoming sleeve. I just had mine done in Dallas on 12/31/12. I had many of the same concerns' date=' but just know you be okay.

I was able to get up and walk the halls with no problems at all - not too much pain. I threw up twice in the hospital but it was due to the pain meds they gave me - I had to take something different. I haven't thrown up since I've been home. Just be sure to get up and walk it off when you feel nausia and / or gas pains come on.

You will be told to sip sip sip the fluids and be like, well, hello, I can only take one sip and I'm done. That's normal. I am 6 days out from surgery and so much better already. I am drinking Protein shakes now and could have never imagined it in the beginning. chicken bouillon cubes are my favorite.

Anyway - just take it one day at a time and if things don't go exactly as you thought they would - it's okay. It's a temporary situation and it will get better.

    Good luck.[/quote']

Wow...nicely put. Glad it doing good. Great attitude.
