  1. I'm 10 weeks post-op and had a couple of sliming issues, always because I ate to fast. I cant let myself get to hungry, that's when I eat to fast. I need to eat something every two or three hours. I'm around a thousand calories a day. Start Weight 304 Surgery Day 274 Today 232 Goal 180
  2. I'm 10 weeks out and my incision on the top right side was sore for about 5 weeks . My surgeon told me this is the largest incision and where my stomach was removed. His partner takes it out on the left side this may be why your sore. You should ask your surgeon.

  7. Livin the dream brother, keep up the good work. I'm right behind you, almost exactly the same stats. Started at 304 sleeved March 4th weight today 238.5. I too want to get down around 170 then build muscle and have the body I've always wanted. We can and will do this...
  8. I started regular food about a week ago and I find it takes me about half an hour to eat, sometimes a little longer. I find now my eyes really are bigger than my stomach, I'm getting better but I still make to big a portion, even measuring it out. I stop drinking half an hour before eating, and don't drink for half an hour after eating. Is this about what you all are doing? Also how often do you eat? I find about 2 hours after I eat I get a little hungry again, especially if I worked out that day, and I've been doing some kind of exercise at least 5 day a week.
  9. Why would you do anything your told explicitly not to do by your surgeon, I don't get it...
  10. From the moment I decided to do this I was on it... Eating healthy and exercise, for me it was a mind set. I lost 25 lbs pre-op and have not and will not look back.
  11. 7 weeks out had my first beer since surgery last night, only one and no problems. It took me almost an hour to finish it.

  14. I was hungry soon after surgery too, don't worry when you start to eat you will get full incredibly fast. I feel the need to eat about every 3 hours, but I cant eat very much.

  18. I've been exercising 5 or 6 times a week since the beginning of the year. And I'm getting tired of the same ol things, the bike, the treadmill, or my fav the elliptical, and of coarse in the last week or two back on the weights. But today I hit the pool and I cant wait, I swam in high school and am looking forward to changing it up and swimming. I'm going to try for 2500 yards in sets of 100 and 200 yards. That would be 100 laps of the 25 yard pool. I bought some goggles and am ready to go. Does anyone else swim?
  19. I know it prolly cant happen but I would have to say "The Hulk" I always liked the big body builder type body.

  23. I work in a large factory and am a friendly sort, so I know a lot of people. I didn't tell anyone I was having surgery, I just didn't show up at work for the last 5 weeks, yes 5 weeks I have a very physical job, lifting, climbing up ladders, working on large presses I didn't thing I could do it after 4 weeks. I feeling great now, ready to go back. So do I tell or not, I'm leaning toward telling and anyone who doesn't like it, to bad.
