I was the same way I didn't feel any restriction until I started on solid foods. The pain on the right side for me lasted about 5 weeks.

I'm 7 months out today and could not be more pleased with the way this has gone for me. I followed what I was told with a few slip ups and I'm down 102 lbs and 3 lbs from being under 200 lbs for the first time since I don't know perhaps Jr High.

The only exception I make to not eating and drinking together is my Protein Shake and banana after my workout. I set the timer on my phone I find that helps me.

I'm 7 months out and haven't given a lot of thought to goal weight, my surgeon never gave me a number. I started at 304 and my CW is 203.5, I guess around 170 would be good. I stopped counting and logging about 8 weeks ago I continue to loose a pound or two a week, I haven't had a stall. I eat clean and exercise 5 or 6 days a week. Am I in maintenance? I don't know I'll just continue fat, dumb and happy until I stop loosing then evaluate where I am and decide then what to do next...

Six months out and I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Everything has gone great I down 100 lbs and in better shape than I've been in years. It seems almost effortless. I still fill my plate with more than I can eat, I eat slowly and stop at the fires feeling of satiety.

Way to early in the game to give up!!! Stick with the plan walk sip repeat. Stay off the sugar, find a Protein you like and quit feeling sorry for yourself You've been given a second chance at a healthy life that many people will never get don't blow it.

Don't weigh yourself every day, you will drive yourself crazy. Stay on track eat clean if you slip up don't beat yourself up and don't wait to get back on track.

Ursodiol (Actigall)
My surgeon prescribes it to all of his patients for the first six months so we don't run into any trouble.
Ya this...

That pain is just the weakness leaving your body. Relish the feeling because after doing strength training for a while you will no longer have the muscle soreness. I miss the pain it made me feel in touch with my body.

I'm so close 201 and holding, for the past 3 weeks. I wish it would just happen already. I'm making a concerted effort this week to eat clean and do some extra cardio...
