Hi all. I've been doing pretty good lately on diet so this morning when I got gas in my truck..($107.00 for a fill up! ) I decided to get a cup of Almond Joy Cappichino? Didn't even get a first sip n first left i took out of driveway, whole cup tipped out of cupholder n splashed all over dash, right seat, n carpeted floor mat n carpet on floor..light gray too:(. what a f&%#ing mess!!. I just had whole interior detailed last month too. I'm thinking that was my punishment for thinking I deserved a treat. Let tbis be a lesson for you all! thanks

Yep My Dr. told me your face is the first to show weightloss. I can tell along with other people my glasses dont "dig" in to sides of my head like before.

Quit drinking carbonated beverages 1/1/13. Don't miss diet pop or beer at all. Banded 3/11/13.

Apple slices with some reduced fat creamy JIF pb is my go to dessert. Better than what i used to consider dessert in my "former" life!

I had my first fill today (3cc's) and now on liquids for 24hrs. Can I still take my gummy/chewable Vitamins on the liquid stage?? thanks

Yep i agree with Blondie. I wasnt hungry for a few days afterwards.

I too had my first fill today. 3 cc's. Nothing more than a "stick" like getting a shot. liquids for 24 hrs. then mushies for 24hrs. Starting BMI 3/11/13 was 35.7 now 32.8.

yep i buy those JIF little cups an my Wal-mart has the lowfat or fat free ones. Good as a snack with apple slices!

I chew dill pickle flavor "Spitz" seeds before LB an asked Dr. after. He said no concerns but if you track your calories etc. be sure to account for them. Chewing them now as I text!!

melly, you'll do just fine..no big deal. just think of those nice NORMAL bs numbers you'll start seeing on your meter like see now!

Not sure what "ppo" means but I have bcbs of n.d. took about a week an half for the approval.

Here's my nsv that i hope u will experience...in mornings my bs was always at least ur number u posted...now 6 wks. post-op its more like 80-95! today at dinnertime i had a 64! i had just came back from a nice springtime 6 blk. walk. Prior to lb, i wouldve been weak n sweating puddles being that low but i felt ok. good luck youll do well.

My Dr. told me most always people notice your face looks thinner first after even a small weightloss. I too have had people comment that my face seems "leaner" because bows of my glasses dont dig into sides of my head anymore! lol

Hi all, I'm 6 wks. post-op. The Dr. gave me a little hourglass? Is that what you call it? But only a "minute" glass to time your bites. Used it at first because like most if you, I too have always been a fast shovel it in eater due to job timelines, breaktimes. Only problem is I'd always forget to flip it over each new minute cause I was focusing on number of chews! lol thanks
