Hi Adam Everyone is differnt but I had my band with plication done April 3rd ( wed) and came back to work ( also a desk job ) on the 8th ( Monday).. my nausea stuck around till about the 6ths and by 7th I was not taking meds for it anymore. I do wish I had been able to work a half day my first day or two back I didnt have problems with pain I was just exhausted by the end of th day -

I am only 12 days post op.. also have a desk job... I had surgery on a Wednesday and was back at work the following Monday... I would say though if I had had the option that Monday and Tue I would have only worked half days bc work kicked my tail even though I just sit on my butt all day... after that I was fine! Good luck w your surgery! ! -

I was banded w plication last Wednesday. .. I am just trying to figure out where my port is ?? I have 4 tiny incisions and one longer one...would it be where the long incision is??? Just trying to figure it all out. Thanks

Hang in there it will get better I was banded april 3 first few days were hard for me too but I tell u what saved me I got some New Whey liquid protein. ..its only 3.5 oz has 180 calories and 42 grams of protein. ...if u can find them try them... I picked up my my nutritionist office but hubby found them at Wal-Mart and was cheaper there too -
