I had a gastric balloon in about two years ago and I just couldn't stop throwing up. I read that your body rejects foreign objects, just wondered if it would be the same with the band.

Thanks for all the support and info, especially Jim who has been a wealth of information, I really do appreciate your posts. I had telephonic contact with my surgeon today and can't wait for the 21st March.

I have to travel for 6 hours to the hospital and the surgery is planned for a Thursday, with an overnight stay in hospital do you think I will be ok to travel home on the Friday?
