That's awesome. Is that lost weight since your surgery or with pre op? I was banded on 2-14 and have only lost 15 since surgery, and 20 pre op. just curious since I feel like 15 since surgery is not enough. Haven't had a fill yet.

Feel for you..... I'm going through the same thing. I've followed everything exactly as I'm supposed to until yesterday and today. 1 cup just isn't doing it. But..... Tomorrows a new day so I'm going to get back on track. I was banded on 2-14 and am down 32 lbs including pre op but have stayed the same for a week now. I'm sure it will be better ice we get our fills.

Thanks everyone. My sheet has examples of full liquids but didn't mention amounts so that's what had confused me.

Hello all. I'm on my post op full liquid diet and I'm concerned about quantity. 1 cup of Soup is not filling me up at all. During this stage should I be worried about the amount? I do it feel restricted at all.

I'm 2 days post op and have an awful taste in my mouth. I'm brushing my teeth 5 times/ day. I've been sucking on SF lifesavers. Is that okay?

You can do it. I thought the first week was easier than the second. I was on the liquids for 2 1/2 weeks as well and was happy to have lost 22 lbs. My surgery was 2 days ago and being on liquids is fine since I was prepared.

I have my surgery tomorrow morning. I have not cheated at all for 2 weeks on the liquid diet until just now. I had 4 Ritz crackers.... Not sure why but I was so hungry and the nerves are kicking in. I'm really excited and ready for this journey but am mad at myself that I folded the night before..

Hello all.. I live in Dover near Plant City. Dr Aguila is doing my surgery this Thursday at Memorial Hospital. Have done well with the pre op diet so far. Just starting to get anxious and nervous now.

2 more days..... And I'm getting really nervous. Very happy that I've lost 20 lbs on my pre op liquids. Surgery Thursday at 9. I can handle pain but am so afraid of being nauseas all day.

Hello all. I'm on day 5 of my pre op Optifast liquids and we're getting ready to go to friends for a Super Bowl party. I will take my Jello and Popsicle but this is my first tough day. Reading your success stories really helps!!
