Stde effects story. One time my two grown daughters were driving me thru Wal-Greens to pick up my prescriptipn. I was in the back seat behind the driver. I started reading the possible side effects, and wanted to ask a question about one of them . My daughter said " Mom let me drive you up so you can ask yourself". So she drove up two feet and rolled down my window with the automatic window opener. I looked in and got all fllustered and said um um DO I HAVE TO HAVE ALL THESE SIDE EFFECTS? The pharmist looked at me and said no mam. My daughters started laughing and sped off. They told me they couldnt take me anywhere. Guess you would have to really had to be there. Oh well...Janie

Chantal I take effexor and have wondered if it made any diffrence in my weight coming off. Reading your post makes me feel better about the effexor. I am really glad you are feeling better. How old are your children? Continued best wishes...Janie

O.K. This has been so enjoyable to read. I started laughing so loud and hard at Darcys chili farts that my husband had to come and see what was going on. I agree with Penni (sorry Lisa) doing something boring with your hubby is a good for sure. It should count for two good deeds. I have decided I am going to take it slowly about the weight loss as long as the scale is moving down. Cause food is a part of life all around me and I am going to have some of the forbidden goodies some times. Today I had a scrambled egg with salsa for breakfast. 3 peppermint patties for a snack. The insides of a Taco Bueno chicken casadea with gualamoale and sour cream for lunch with 3 peppermint patties for lunch. Some pistachio nuts for afternoon snack. One half of a grilled chicken breast with honey mustard sauce and some squash caserole for dinner and later I will drive to McDonalds for a dipped cone while on my way to do my good deed. I will spend the night with my daughter and keep my grandson tomorrow because her sitter cant. No exercise except the work related up and down the ladders and stairs painting a mural. I have really enjoyed reading about what everyone eats. Stay positive, healthy and happy...Janie

Well I lost 2 more pounds now I weigh 210. ( 11 lbs to go to meet my first goal being under 200.) I am going to start weighing on fridays because the weekends are a bigger food intake days for me. I am taking this journey slow. There is no hurry as long as the scale is moving in the right direction.Best wishes to all of you...Janie

I am not sure what you mean. I had some blow up things on my legs while I was in the hospital and I liked them. T hey gave my legs a massage. You are probably talking about something else. Sorry I am not much help...Janie

I have the hardest finding a bra to fit me. I have a large ribcage and I wear a 50 B. I dont think you can tell how odd I really look because I live in big cotton shirts. The kinds with collars. When I dont have a bra on I look like pancakes. ( Bet our bandster brothers get a kick out of our bra talk and other subjects.) Oh well, Donali I think your pics were great. Congratulations...Janie

Mary, my doctor did not say anything about taking calcium. But I have never heard of the 3 oz. limit of food a day. That sounds crazy to me. We are supposed to have 3 oz. 3 times a day and thats way too strict for me..Good luck...Janie

LEATHA, I am so sorry about your pain. I was supposed to get my gallbladder taken out when I got my lapband but at the last minute my Doctor said he wouldnt do it because of the possibility of infection. I was really bumbed out but really wanted my band. I am pretty sure I am facing additional surgery to get my gallbladder out. My gall bladder attacks are a tight feeling in my chest and a panicy feeling like I could pass out. A very yucky feeling. G uess I have been hoping my stones wouldnt act up while I am loosing weight. Let us know soon. Whwn you feel better lets plan our get together...Janie

Rica, I have trouble with my knees also. Especially my left one. I started celebrex and take a chewable gloucosimine (sp) every day and it really helps. I never thaught about it possibly hurting my band. Maybe you should rest it some. Best of luck to you...Janie

I hate it when I accidently put my post on twice. Darcy I love ollie. So cute. My daughter is allergic to cat hair or I would have a kitty too. Lisa your poochie on your head is so cute. I have a shitzu (sp). My cousin said she knew I would have a pet with the word shit in its name. She is a sweet little dog and very attached to me. Lisa you have no wrinkles on your face. I am jealous even though I am over 10 years older than you, I had a lot of wrinkles at age 42. Neicy you are cute and penni I loved your pictures too. This is so much fun.
