  1. And don't forget Toto!!
  2. Michelle, I guess that gives us one more reason to love our band! We would have missed these precious friendships without it.
  3. She only did her sweaty Curves and "dirty dancing" in them a few times!
  4. Michelle, coming from a sweet gal like you, that's a true compliment! I agree, this board is an extended family, even in other countries. It is really nice to be able to put an actual voice to a post. It would be wonderful to figure out a meeting place that could be convenient for all LBTers!

Linda, nice to meet you! Best of luck to you on your new journey!
  6. It's very hard to follow in the shadow of Leatha's post. She told everything so eloquently, that I can't think of any details that were missing. Ryan doesn't have anything on that woman! Lisa G. is a fantastic wife, mother, scrapbooker extradinaire, funny, sweet, beautiful. Nancy is a social worker, volunteers w/ senior citizens, and brand-new Cabaret singer, pretty, caring, thoughtful, gentle. And she has these amazing slender hands and fingers. Betty is our pretty Baby Bandster, but she's also the one who's followed the rules better than anyone else. She's got gorgeous long hair, beautiful eyes, and a very sharp wit that doesn't miss a beat. She's often my Siamese twin in thoughts (sometimes devious). Paula is gorgeous, dedicated wife, mother, very loving, gentle, and has the most beautiful doe-eyes. Ginny -no party would be complete w/o her. The troubled boys she and her husband work with are truly blessed to have her. She is funny, vivacious, foxy, super grounded, and a really great singer and dancer. Leatha appears as a beautiful, delicate, porcelain doll, but she's courageous, compassionate, thoughtful, sharp, she's got that sense of humor that can only come from Texas, and now a future as a lounge singer/dancer. Leatha brought each of us a beautiful crystal angel ornament. She also gave me a wonderful daily inspirations book, with a beautiful inscription from her. I was nervous about this meeting because I'm severly hearing impaired. But each person was so sweet about it. They all probably went home with laryngitis! Ever since I've been home, I've walked around with a big smile on my face and a wonderful warmth encircling my heart. The laughter, conversation, hugs, tears, and companionship that we all shared is irreplacable. I will cherish the 2004 Galveston Retreat for many, many years to come! Thank each one of you for being the wonderful, special person that you are! Love you all lots!
  7. Snicker, snicker, snicker
  8. Once you make that decision to take back control of your life, it does become an obsession! That's a perfect description! Now, talk nicely to the shrink. LOL
  9. There has to be a few more out there....
  10. Actually, Darcy, I have four eyes. LOL
  11. Wow, Margie, YOU are an inspiration! Sending big (((hugs))) to you! I can't wait to see what you're doing a year from now!
  12. I'm only saying they came from someone with a very cute, very short, figure.
  13. Margie, you were confined to your bed for twenty years from an injury! Now, you've gotten your band and lost 37 pounds! You have a lot of living to catch up on! Just gaining the freedom to be able to walk out that door is mind boggling. Please come here and "talk" to us any time you want! How are your migraines?
  14. Very well said, Leatha!!
  15. Don't I just wish!
  16. Congratulations, Samy! So your New Year really will be a new beginning for you! That's wonderful! My dr. had me eat "low glycemic" foods, no diets, and was very easy to follow.
  17. Lauri, I really know your Mom!
  18. Theresa, I called my husband in here and asked him if he knew who that was in those pics. He immediately said that's Rupert and Rudy! That is so cool! And you look FANTASTIC!! So pretty!
  19. New Hope replied to a post in a topic in The Lounge
He should have given you a list of foods to eat. They are low glycemic. The reason being to help shrink the liver prior to surgery.
  20. Hey, gals, it was thongs! And the real question is who did they come from?....hmmmmm.
  21. So, Greg, do you get any respect in your recruits class now? LOL
  22. Andrea, do take care and make that drive to the fill dr. if needed. My last fill was just increased by only 0.3, seemed fine, but a week later was pbing on water. After 0.2 was removed, I was fine. Please let us know how you're doing tomorrow! Best of luck to you!
  23. O.K., Margie, I'm hoping she has a baby boy! My oldest one is celebratng his 24th birthday TODAY! I have two, and you're right, they do drive you crazy at times, but I wouldn't trade them for the world! They and my husband are my heart! Maybe Veronica can have twins - one of each! LOL
  24. Beautiful girl, beautiful hat....great combination!
  25. I seem to always be short on my water intake. But I didn't feel like riding my bike for about 2 1/2 weeks. Now, I'm back and feel so much better when I do (physically and emotionally).
