    I used 1/2 the dose of the liquid Vicodin that I got for the surgery... My monthly cramps are just as bad as contractions during labor! So I know how u feel!
  3. I would call your nutritionist.. If I had just 2 eggs for breakfast I would be hungry by 11-12 too! Doesn't sound like your getting enough calories in during the most important meal of the day

  5. I think Im getting To hard on myself... I do NOT cheat on my diet.. I don't snack.. If I eat something I make sure it's always calculated on my allowed calories... I always take a minute between bites.. I always wait 20 minutes for a drink.. But tonight I get really down and hard on myself because I had a 1/2 of a teaspoon of mashed potatoes.. I shouldn't feel like this cause I'm not on a super strict diet yet.. I'm just watching my intake ie. calories and portions.. Anyone hard on themselves like this? Is it normal?

    Hahaha yes I'm from NYC.. And Carolinagirl u are toooo funny... I meant diet very loosely... I eat everything I ate before just the proper portions. Because i never was a "junk" food eater just an Excessive eater..But I felt so guilty taking that extra spoonful of mashed potatoes... I have bad OCD and I have to stop before I drive myself nuts.
  8. Same here!!!! There are some things I notice that other people can't... My wedding ring fits again.. My sneakers are getting super loose.. My socks don't leave indents on my ankles anymore.. My bra is one snap tighter.. I try to focus on these things

  11. Food! after band life... if you stick with your allowed portions and calories.. then you will be able to eat the foods you love BUT have a healthy loving relationship with instead of resenting them. Ps. I still eat pizza.. Cept I eat about a 1/2 ny slice instead of 3-4 slices! Pizza <3

    What stage are you on? You can juice up your protein shakes with fruits.. That helps raise the cals a little

    :-/ I'm interested in this too.. Do you have physical issues? I wouldn't have minded it.. My abdominal and back muscles are shot!
  14. I used a girdle through most of my last weightloss attempt before lapband.. The only thing it did help me with was building my ab muscles.. Because it gave me to extra support between workouts

    Mucinex dm liquid that will thin out the mucus so u can cough or blow it out... And use a netti pot to clear after the mucus thins

  18. I would check with your doctor.. That stuff is pumped with supplements and I was told to be off all supplements, vitamins, and herbal pills 1 week prior to surgery... And those calories are a little high.. 210 per shake.. Mine were about 130.. But every doctor has different requirements so I would speak to him/her

    I had to get mirena removed 2 months after it went in.. I had horrible weight gain.. I've been looking into the copper IUd but I'm scared lol

    Water water water.. Even post op water is helping me stay full between meals

    is your preop strictly liquids or can you have lean means and steam veggies? i just made myself busy when my family was eating.. i didnt stay in the dining room or kitchen but took a shower or cleaned one of the bedrooms or upstairs rooms to keep away... i feel bad cause my son is only 2 and he was eating alot of left overs from grandma and grandpa.. but 2 weeks compared to the rest of our lives put me at ease. I would keep reminding myself that my son would rather eat left overs or take out for 2 weeks than not have his mommy due to a heart attack or renal failure.
