  1. I totally feel ya, girl! I'm 6 weeks post op and only have lost 28 lbs. I'm not really sure why I say "only 28 lbs" when that's a lot! Couldn't have done with without the sleeve. Point of the matter is that I compare myself to the other weight loss numbers on the forum and get discouraged. I realized I'm an individual, and though my weight loss has been slow, it's been very steady. I haven't had complications, my incisions look great, and I haven't been this weight in a while! Yay for the sleeve! Don't compare yourself with others, do your thang n focus on YOUR weight loss.

  5. How long does everyone take to eat?

  14. Thanks everyone! I think I need to start eating slower as well. I really have a hard time with that, still adjusting. I used to eat extremely fast until I was very full. It's a process but ill get there.
  15. I'm almost 5 weeks post op and afraid to eat. Don't get me wrong, I eat, but its a painful experience for me. I'm on mushy foods right now. By the time I get full (usually 4 to 5 spoonfuls) my stomach is already going through horrible pain. Did anyone go through this through the early stages?
  16. I have the same problem! I'm one month post op and down 25 lbs. I used to be 150 lbs and still had the same issue. Once I feel more energetic and can consume more I am going to pick up running, well at least work my way to running. I'm sure exercise can help us out with our cute dimples

  21. I had to let go of the pill prior to my surgery, as per my doctor. I'm one month post op and would like to get back on it. I don't have any kids and would like to get pregnant in the future. Any recommendations on what contraceptive to take?

  23. So I ran into a friend last week and you could tell she was losing weight. She was probably about 20 lbs lighter. I hadn't seen her in over 2 years. I asked what her secret was and she told me she had the gastric sleeve about 1.5 years ago in Mexico. She told me she went from a size 20 to a size 4 but then stretched her sleeve. I was hesitant to believe her at first so I did my research and sure enough, she did have the surgery. Is it possible for your sleeve to stretch?
