I go through Day One health in Chicago. They are really nice there and it only cost $250. I am self pay so just trying to find a deal!! I wish it was only like 15 to 20.That would be WOUNDERFUL!!! So How Much it is for all you other cheese heads??? May be a drive wouldn't be to bad!!

Just wait the liquid diet is so fun!!!!!!!! You can do because there is an end to it!!! My husband said don't bother with the surgery if I could just liquid the whole time !!! He is such a joker!! I need real food!!!! I think the hardest thing for me to do was taking the time to eat because My stomach would get weird if the kids and my husband would bother me when I was eating after the surgery. So you really have to take the time to eat!!!

Your Port is where they fill your band!! It can be placed in a couple of different places on your body. Mine is on my left side right below my rib cage. I can feel it when I press down. Some people have them on there right side, around the belly button or even below the breast plate. It is where the surgen places it! Find out where yours is going to be. I heard the breast plate area is the most painfull to get your fills done. How long have you been going through the process?

I just had my done 1 year ago !!! Recovery was alittle tough!!! Walking really helps. The more I walked the better I felt. Ice packs helped. I was off of work for about 1 1/2 weeks. You can loss more then 1 to 2 lbs. if you watch what you eat!! I have to go back in because my port flipped and it is leaking!!!

I also started hair loss!! I started to take a prenatal vitamin and that helped it alot!!

I just found out my port also flipped and it is also leaking!!! I have to have a new port replaced!! They are charging my $3000. Did anyone else have to have it totally replaced? And how much did they charge you?

Hi!! Well I have been having problems with my port!!! I tried to get a fill in the office and the doc couldn't get it. I went in to the hospital under xray to have the fill done, Guess what !!! MY port flipped upside down and it is leaking!! I have to have it replaced and they told me that it would cost $5000 to replace it!! I flipped out because it has not even been a year since I got my band in. So they are doing it for $3000. Has this ever happened to anyone else? My port seems to also hurt off and on again.

Don't worry about food stuck! Your not filled yet. Sounds like you still have a little gas or an upset tummy

I never PB till I had my 3rd fill! I guess that Know I am eating to fast and to big of bites! I don't throw up every day though. That would scare me! I think that if you are throwing up everyday then you are way to tight!! Call the Doc!

<p>Don't worry !!! I was in your shoes 3 months ago!! You can have a snickers bar, but a mini one!! It all depends on how tight your band is!! When I was really hunger I would eat sugar free pudding and that seemed to really stay with me , so then I was not that hungry. I was a 276 when I started and know I am 250. I would have never stayed on a diet that long and I am still losing!! </p> <p> </p> <p>I had never ever had any surgurys or been put to sleep! It was very easy!!!! I was very scared also but it went very fast and easy and no problems.</p>

I am going through the same thing right now!!! I just had another fill on the 5th !!! I had oatmeal for breakfast and that was fine!! I tried pork for late lunch and the same thing I was in pain also for along time i wasn't sure if i was going to have to call someone or not. My tummy is not to good and I am not going to eat anything else tonight!!

Wow!! Where did the fill go? I haven't had any problems eating! I am not eating as much as I was before the band and I am losing 1 pound a week. But some days I feel like a could eat every thing in the house. I hope my second fill does it!! I didn't get my first fill it 5/25 because of work . I go june 6th for my second fill. I am glad that I don't have to wait that long!!

I would call your doc!! Check out the old post on it!! I think you would feel something!! I am in the same boat as you but I don't drink soda!! I know that can cause it to stretch!!

I guess that I will have to ask and find out how much it holds!! Or may be I shouldn't because some people are almost all filled and hardly feel any restriction!! That scares me!!! I don't know what I would do if that was me!!!!!!

I was in at 5:30am and was on my way home by 11:30am. I was up and walking 1 hour after the band was placed. I just wanted to get home. the more moble I was the quicker they said I could go home!!!!

Hi all!! I am an april 3rd bander. I had my first fill about week and a half ago!! I don't feel all that restricted but they set me up with an appt for another fill all ready this wed! Do you think that is to fast ? My doc keeps telling my it is like tuning in a radio. till it is just right. My first fill was only 1cc. I don't know how much my band holds

Hello and Good luck!! One thing that I didn't find on any on list was a body pillow for in bed!! I didn't have one the first night and that was bad. I sleep on my left side and that is right where my post is! I hurt to sleep on that side! Just rember that walking helps alot!! I did alot of laps in my bedroom!! Banded 4/3/07

You can get SmarthMouth at some Pharmancys but not to many. Call and see if they carry it. You can order it on line. We sell it from our dental office. I Believe our web site is www.Badbreath-infocenter.com Years ago you could only get through dental offices but they are starting to get pharmacys to carry them.
