So sorry to bring this thread back but wanted to update. So after a week plus of feeling nauteous I finally got in contact with my surgeon he told me to come in right away. I go to his office and when taking my blood pressure I start crying and sweating and vomiting to where I pretty much pass out. He admits me on hospital and I'm here 2 days. I have X-rays taken and a scope into my stomach. After all that and getting fluids I just get word all tests were fine. Nothing is wrong and I'm free to be released on about 2 hours. When asked what went wrong they said it was probly something I ate...but I can't think of anything. Not going to preach but I was scared passed few days so everyone just watch what you eat. This was a terrible experience and would HATE for others to experience.

Anyone else has may surgery.....they called this morning and Surprise I was approved but then she said my surgery date was May 21 I was a little shocked Its a lil far out since it's March still. But I'm happy to be getting surgery so that's a blessing

I just finished all my requirements except for workshops. My program requires three educational workshops before surgery. The April ones were full so I'm scheduled for May 7, 14, and 21. My coordinator is going to try to get preapproval so the surgery can be scheduled imediately following the last workshop. My surgeon does surgery on Wed and Thurs so we're shooting for May 22 or 23. I'm crossing my fingers...

Hi everyone my name is Tawana and I'm from Charlotte NC. After almost 8years of consideration I've decided to get gastric bypass surgery. I've struggled with being over weight since I was a small child I can think back to my baby pictures and even then I was over weight. Can't wait to be apart of the losers bench. No date yet but should have one in a few weeks. Hope to receive the much needed support so I can start my new lifestyle. Thanks and hope to meet new friends
