  1. A little rubbing alcohol will take the adhesive goo off.
  2. Sprinkle is right - water weight. Don't sweat it. It will come right back off. I didn't weigh for a few days after surgery b/c I heard of the overnight gain and I didn't wanna step off the scale in tears.
  3. Also the chest tightness might be gas.
  4. I didn't have that but do remember the nurse telling me a million times to take deep breaths. The anesthesia and pain meds can make your breathing shallow. Maybe you had some time with shallow breaths and now the deep ones are expanding some muscles past where they were recently?
  5. What kinda pain? Where? I wonder if maybe you are hungry? There were times my pain escalated and it was in some weird overlap of a hunger pain mixed with gas pains. Or maybe if the protein shake made you that full the key is drinking slower? Congrats on some amazing loss!
  6. Yes I had abt 3 days of phlem-y coughs right after surgery. I think it had to do with the breathing tube and anesthesia. It cleared up on its own for me.
  7. I did earlier this week and then finally it moved again. It happens. Feels like I hit a week or even two with no movement and then almost out of nowhere I will drop several pounds. Hang in there!
  8. You can find it at most drug stores or any type of health food store. It's a capsule. I've had no problem swallowing them.
  9. It is a private group that doesn't even show up in searches. Send a msg on here to crayolaphoenix with your email addy and she will send an invite.
  10. I think the activated charcoal is working!
  11. Maggie - I have been experiencing port pain my doc thinks is from over exerting myself walking. I'm going to take more short walks and forgo the longer ones for now. 3 weeks till I can lift weights an get in a pool. By that point I should be able to walk further too. I have the realize band but was expecting it. It's all my doc uses.
  12. Just got weighed at surgeon's office. 272. At home I am 292. Both show abt 23lbs loss but the variance is crazy! I told them again and they said theirs has been adjusted but when they heard my nutritionist scale is also 15lbs over theirs and it is in the same health practice they were surprised and they will check theirs again. I will just stay consistent with my home scale and that way it I'm almost guaranteed good news when I'm on any other scale
  13. I'm having some itching on a couple of them. Unfortunately I'm feeling more pain by my port site than less. I have a call in to my surgeon's office to see what's up.
  14. I'm not on yogurt yet but I think I can in a week or two. I love chicken broth - even before all of this. I particularly love manishevitz brand. I am drinking my protein drinks basically all day. I used to gulp and have been careful to sip now but it take forever.
  15. What phase of post op diet are you on? If you are introducing soft foods maybe its smaller, slower bites with more chewing? I'd call your doc to be safe tho and not wait till the 22nd. Vomiting is not a good thing.

  21. Agree with others - see your doctor. Hope it gets figured out quickly and with little pain!!
