When I get a fill I'm on liquids for, four days than mybe solids if you can, but the Dr. Will tell you when you get an fill.

He just took out a cc and did nothing, and I have still not lost, doing ever thing that I'm told even talked to the nurtritionest and still not loseing, mad as hell.

My first fill was 1cc and did wonderful, was not hungry at all the first 4 days was great, lasted a while before another one.

Yes the band is surpose to work for us, but I have done every thing that the Dr.;s say and counted my calories as well and measured my food intake, that is not working as well so now what, and for some one to get mad about some one speaking their minds, people can say what ever they wish and try to tell you that you have to do all this and you do and it still doesn't work even through your doning ever thing the Dr. tells you.

Just found this one, I had my band Feb,4 2010, I was doing great lost 17 lbs 6 weeks after surgery, had 25 mpre to go and got sick and had to have some fluid removed twice and waited a long time before the Dr, would fill me again, it's been 10 months and gaining weight, lost good with the diet, but just had a fill and lost 11 lbs from 10 months ago, gained 30 lbs back after fluid removed, trying to get reband or my band has scratched and moved side ways.

I to had the same problems you are having, I'm 3 years into my band, I did great until I had 25 lbs more to lose, I was in and out of bed as well the Dr. took out some fluid and I never had it again intil 11 months, I just had a fill and lost 11 lbs and had another one a 1/2 cc, I lost 45 lbs and gained 30 lbs back again now I'm trying to lose it again, I told the Dr. that I needed to be rebanded again because it was scratched, their are 10 cc inthe band and I'm at 7 cc's.

I lost really great for a year, I was at 189 lbs, got to 135 lbs and my Dr. Took it out because I was vomitting, and he didn't fill for 10 months, finally he gave me a fill after I had to lose 6 lbs by my self, I was so pissed at him, and then he gave me another one four months again, I gained and lost gained 3 lbs lost 2 lbs, and yes he was pissed at me, but now I'm wounding if my band is out of shape because I am at 7 cc's already and it goes to 10 cc they told me, so I want to be reband and he just keeps putting it off for me, but I really want this again.

Yes I was woundering why did they reband you, did it slip or was it side ways, I really would like to know, because I have the same problem. Thanks and good luck.

Try to just do the liquids right now, because I did the same thing and my Dr., unfilled me twice and I gained, so if you just do the proteins you will do fine, lose while you still can, the first 6 months you will lose well, so try to stay on liquids.

Yes, but you have to do what's best for you, not your family, yes you will family members not supporting you but when they see the weight come off they will support you than, I hope so for you, but your husband support you than that is all that matters right now for you, I know that you want your family support, they will come around sooner than later. You will be fine just chew, chew, chew and eat slower, I'm a 52 year old and I take meds also and they go down fine, just take it slow and, God bless you and good luck.

I have been eating right and measureing my foods, and yes I have tried myfitness pal.

He says that he doesn't want me sick again, but I was doing well until two weeks before it was time for me to go back to the Dr.

I had my unfill last year and My Dr. will not fill me back up, so I was on a 1200 calorie and lost 11 lbs, but gained it back and I'm still on it but I can't lose, I'm counting my calories and every thing, so good luck with that.

I have been 2 years now, and I'm not doing well, for one I have not lost when my Dr. took out of my band and I have not been able to lose again, still trying to lose, I was on a 1200 calorie I did lose 11 lbs bu gained it back and the Dr. will not give me any fill right now. So I'm strugging to lose the weight again, I was at 189 when I started and lost 40 lbs down to 135 lbs and gained back 25 lbs.

I had the same problems, but when I went for my scope, my Dr. Took out and I have gained 20 lbs. If I had known what I know now I would have told him to leave it in.

They see you, but don't worry about it, some people are jealous and don't want to say anything because you are losing the weight, but as long as you can see and fell the differece in your clothes. As long as you see it and feel the difference in your clothes.

That's great, but watch out becaus if you get to 7cc than you may get sick oand they will take it out and you will gain a lot back about 20 lbs, so while your losing keep it up because if you get to 7 or 6cc than be very careful to eat slow I mean very slow, I did well at the beginning after about 9 months after into the fill, about two weeks before it was time for me to go back for my appointment I was eating to fast and called the Dr. and he told me to come in that Thursday and took out about 4cc's and I gained back 20 lbs. and still gaining, I have been put on a 1200 calorie and I did lose 11 lbs, but started gaingin it back, so be very careful.

No! please don't let them take nothing out or you will gain weight back.

Just don't let them take any out or you will gain back all of or some of the weight,and you will be uncomfotable with the weight on you, so please try to stay as you are.

be happy that your getting that, because I have had my removed twice and it's been almost a year and the Dr.Still will not give me a fill, so be happy with yours,and don't complain because when you do they take it out and you will gain not lose, so take it from someone that's started at 189 lbs.and got to 135 lbs,a nd gain over 25 lbs and still going up.

Don't be depressed about where you are, that is great if you fell like you need to slose more than by all means do it, because I had some fluid removed and I gained 25 lbs, I'm trying to get back to loseing but I can't no matter what I do, I'll be glad when I get my fill back to where I use to be 125. lbs. Keep going no matter what people say you know whats right for you.

You have to put you mind to it and you will do fine, just tell your self that you can do it, try to go to a gym to work out that will get your mind off food, just try to stick with the proteins for about a month and you will see big results, and when you see how much you're lost you will keep doing your proteins.
