First Fill Today
I had surgery a month before you and it has taken four fills to get me to 3.5ccs and I'm just now starting to feel my band. my Dr told me I probably wouldn't feel anything until around 4. since he told me that I wasn't discouraged when I felt no difference after those first fills. don't force it. like my Dr keeps telling me, this is a marathon not a sprint. I know it's frustrating. hang in there and don't eat something to try to feel restriction. causing damage isn't worth it.

Girl, I just want to give you a hug. I could have written that. Exactly how I feel. Nice to know we're not alone. Easy for your family to say!!

I didn't feel anything....not even a pinch. you'll be fine!

second fill
it's frustrating. my Dr is super conservative with fills and I think it will be months before I feel restriction! I have 2ccs now 4 Weeks out from surgery. not another fill until 6 more Weeks. just wanted you to know you're not alone. he said id probably feel some restriction around 4 ccs. such a long process but we're in it for the long haul!!

I too have a strange pain in my left side and I do NOT think is gas. the only way I know to describe it is a "stitch" our cramp in my side like you sometimes get when you eat right before exercising? not too worried about it though.,, will ask my surgeon when I see him Monday.- January 2013 Bandsters!
my pain usually sets in later in the day. yesterday was my first night going to bed without pain meds! yeah!! I'm hungry all the time it feels like but I'm trying to eat very small portions. I'm anxious to have real food!!!- January 25 bandsters!
I only had it the first few days after surgery but it was crazy bad. as id be talking it would get worse until I felt like my mouth was full of glue and id have to stop talking! weird!- Jan 2013 Surgery Buddy Wanted
